Excellent! Many thanks for posting Tomas, very much appreciated.
Now that's one awesome fluid head. Great work Tomas!
Thanks *****, it is a really nice addition.
Thanks for the informative review!!
Hello Tomas, Thank you for a very well done product review! I appreciate you!
Well built and Perfect..👍
Great work T!!! This is a perfect combo for the Monopod.. I must get this fluid head!!!!
TechExamined appreciate the love Mikey.
Nice I need this to go with the best monopod ever now.
PremierReviewer yes you do! It's amazing.
What you think about vh-10 vs manfrotto 502 ??
how is this compared to the Manfrotto 502HD?
This or the manfrotto mvh500ah? How do they compare?
Great review ... Have you seen the Acebil mp-C200 looks very similar to the Sirui P-204S ?
is this compatible with 1/4 screw? whats does it mean the arca swiss compatible?
what tripod you used in the last part? is it sirui table top tripod?
Is the plate compatible with arca swiss quick release?
I read that it says it is but just wanna confirm.
Isn't it impossible to shoot vertically? What should I use for a tripod?
SOLD, I thank you for getting me over the line, you & your review gave me the confidence and I took the leap = $299.00 AUD to add to the SIRUI T-O24SK Tripod and swap out the B-00K Ball Head. I do like your "Mono-Pod" Review video. Cheers mate from (Outback country) Wild Western Australia
Its pretty neat. 👌
Great video bro, I really like this fluid head, thinking about getting one.
Apldroid thank you, you won't be disappointed if you do get it.
Awesome work Sir 👍
Jay Tech thanks!
Great Video Tomas!
I hope to invest on this Sirui setup very soon. Definitely need it!
NoVision Productions you won't be disappointed, it's really awesome. Thanks for the support!
Tomas Villegas Welcome! I bet I won't be. Definitely need so I can get back to the RUclips game and also start filming again.
@7:16 starts to look a bit shaky, what do you think?
Nice job Tomas!
SamsTech thank you.
Do you think using this head on a tripod or buying sh-15 tripod kit would be better solution?
Great Built Quality matches perfectly with the Monopod..nic fluid shots..👍
Renki 264 appreciate it!
You didn't mention anything about "panning" Does it have a drag for the pan movements ? Does it have a pan lock ?
for that you need VH-10X version
Great review. Any experience with the Sirui VA-5? Wondering if that would still be a better option than the 500AH?
Unfortunately no I haven't had any experience with the VA-5. I have had experience with the 500AH and it's not my favorite. My fav fluid head is the 502 Manfrotto.
Great video
Alfredo R. Colón thanks man!
Tomas, do you favor the Sirui VH-10 over the Sirui VH-10X ? The latter provides friction control for the pan movement
I'd go for teh VH-10X if I were to purchase one or the other today.
thank you. I don't own a fluid head. Please suggest one between Sirui VH-10 and manfrotto mvh500ah
VH-10 for sure. I don't like the 500AH.
Hello Tomas, I'd appreciate that you show the fluidity of the movements made with the head like they do on B&H, thanks anyway
+Tom Tom did you watch the video all the way through? I put in some samples shots.
+Tomas Villegas Yes I did, what I meant was, if you are using a monopod we cannot see how much the head is fluid. You do not show the little shocks that can happen on a tripod, up and down, right to left etc. I was expecting to see those tiny movements that we can call the resistance or the delay between the beginning and the movement and at the end. (sorry for my english)
metal levers have their cons too (very hot or very cold outside), so just the fact they are not plastic could be debated ... if i was picking nits :-)
BUT more importantly....
the video clip with the 105mm lens had a definite CLICK as you moved and was anything but smooth !!
Q1. . what's with that and what caused it ?
--- was getting motivated till i saw that pan :-(
Q2.. how many other vid heads have you used that you can compare with ?
i use/love their 424S monopod but still looking for a vid head to put on it
+hdrsmit that's the human element you've got to account for. It's a monopod with a very sturdy fluid head with some of the smoothest pans I've had the experience of using. I use the Manfrotto 502s in my work as well.
I recently bought one of these once I screwed on the head I can't get it off again is there a trick to it if anyone knows?
Apply frozen ice in a bag or pees in a bag over the joint and then apply boiling hot water over and then twist, it should come free
Looks like a nice fluid head! Would love to see how it compares to other fluid heads :)
***** that's a great idea, thanks for the suggestion.
good job!
Thx
First!
I need this fluid head in my life ASAP
Geekynerddad sell some of those cameras! #greedyWithCameras
I ordered this head, and it came with no quick release plate, am I supposed to order that separate? That doesn't really seem reasonable....
No, it comes with a quick release plate. Contact your seller.
Tomas Villegas Already did after making this comment, it was indeed an error. Thanks for the help! Also, I found out that a couple Manfrotto plates fit this, so I 3D printed a few, and they work too.
why do most people i come across pronounce this as "suray" it is pronounce as it is written "Sirui"
+Prince HWC sorry you're wrong, I spoke with their representative and I pronounce it correctly in my video.
Thanks for the comment though.
i understand you but SIRUI can not sound SURAY
either way thanks for the video
+Prince HWC it's actually Chinese, so suray is quite close to the Chinese pronunciation.
+ioklmj11 it should be pronounced see ruu eee. But with less emphasis on the "see". Just as short "see"
Shahrul Azmi Dude... I am a Chinese, I speak it everyday... It's difficult to use English pronunciation to describe Chinese, and I guess short "see" is an accurate description. But Suray is close enough to me.
Overall, the head is very solidly made, but it has a few flaws that make it very limitedly useful (especially for video recording).
Good thing: - pannig is good,
- compact, but unfortunately we ended up with a good one :(.
Bad things: - due to the panning system it has become high,
- the tilt system is useless for serious work (biggest weakness),
- the brake button prevents tilting.
If she had the same system of movement as she has for panning, she would be among the better ones - so there is only one more on the table.
Great video man! I'm assuming once you use a fluid head, you can never go back to a normal one. :)
Very true DAVIDSDIEGO, especially this fluid head. Thanks for the support.
The tilt looks smooth. But the pan was jerky.
Man, what kind of computer monitor do you have in your room? ;)
Too spendy for no pan drag adjustment to get it you need The VH10 x at almost double the price (@$300?) ! Three D printer here I come ...
Sorry, what I said it is for VH-10X ;).
awesome review man! Sirui! i need you to contact me to please. PLEASE. PLEEEASE
TrustMacintosh thanks bro man!
So, you basically showed us how gitter this head is?
Sure.
Tomas Villegas didn't mean to sound rude, but the demo footage looks very jittery. No very assuring to buy this head.
looks very jerky.
Frame rate / shutter speed?? Looked too systematic to be the the head...
He's right. The panning is Jerky. Manfrotto head would be better to use with this monopod.
Jesus Chris did the world get stupid in the last ten years, using a panning fluid head on a monopole! The whole point is to have all the pan and tilt come from the head specifically for long focal lengths and smooth pans. What kind of review was this?
