I had terrible worries regarding one of my children not eating. I remember the medical experts saying to me 'don't worry, they're not going to starve themselves' Needless to say they grew into a healthy young adult who continues to eat me out of house and home to this day. Sometimes being a mum can be hard, just try to relax and not make too big a deal of it. Best of luck x
These look very realistic and balanced to me! My 7 year old is extremely fussy and eats the exact same lunch every day! I personally don't think a ham sandwich a few times a week is worth worrying about because there is protein and iron there. I grew up eating processed meat (salami and ham) and I don't eat much of it now but I think you can get away with that when you're a fussy child 😂
Sounds really frustrating that packed lunches are proving trying this week. Hopefully it’s just a phase, it’s difficult when you are doing your utmost. Kids and food can be difficult to navigate. Would school dinners some days be an option? x
Hi Claire! I was thinking of what to say, or suggest, but couldn't think of anything particularly helpful to be honest! So thought I'd send you a big hug 🤗 instead & try not to worry too much. Kids will eat when they're hungry, plus please remind yourself that you're doing your best! Also I suppose you could always suggest that the kids make their own sandwiches to free you up some time for you! Maybe they'd be more inclined to eat it all if they've made it themselves xxx
Try not to worry I have 1 child like this and she in year 6 does not eat much but she has big breakfast and dinner and snack when home. It stressed me out loads but she was fine I kinda let what is be if you know what I mean. She definitely not going go hungry 😂
Must be very hard knowing what to buy that the kids will eat ! , my Harry gets dinner at the school canteen , put money on his edu link where he can choose what he wants ! ,
Please speak to the teacher, a child with sensory issues who is explained what he’s struggling with, they must be able to come up with somewhere else he can eat
Im sure your eldest could make his own lunch now, or maybe earn a little pocket money to buy lunch maybe? As frustrating as it is, at that age they need to make their own choices
This hadn't even really occurred to me...I started tonight by getting all 3 of them to select what they wanted and put it in their lunchboxes. They need supervision good choices would be made 😂 x
I love seeing these. Used the pizza idea for my little girl from a previous video and she loved it. It’s hard to do packed lunches when the school doesn’t allow any crisps, cakes, biscuits and chocolates. But mind you she only eats 3 things sometimes.
My daughter who is a similar age to Charlie didn’t eat her lunch one day because another kid said they felt sick and she was put off 😂 another time there was leftover food on the floor and she felt sick . Didn’t eat it then too. We have those off weeks too. Hope you’re well x
Oh Claire u don’t sound ur usual happy self 😢😢 u feeling ok 👌 great lunches as per usual great variety for all the kids 😅😅 Be careful with cheese strings I got some other day and luckily I opened it and took a bite and there was a piece of plastic in 3 outta 4 in the package took em with the plastic back too Asda and they refunded me the £1:50 and £2 go will gesture on my Asda rewards app xx I’m like Charlie I can’t sit and eat with strangers especially who eat with their mouth open yuk xx Have a great Sunday love ❤️ Claire from Bradford xx
Kids can be so fussy !!! Freddie has lunch at school & he says there’s not much time to eat it ! We decided that he can choose what to eat and it’s his choice if he’s hungry or not !!! But he is now 14, so younger ones do need some supervision as they will eat all junk if not !!! Hope your feeling better now my lovely ❤xxx

You sound quite unhappy during this vlog
It's been a busy and trying week

I can't do that, as he'll just buy rubbish and nothing decent at all😆 he'll just have to have a small lunch and have his fruit in the morning xx
Nice lunches
Thank you x

I will talk to his teacher, but he won't want to move and sit away from his friends though, so it might be a tricky one 🤷♀️ xx

I'm glad you like them and also that your daughter liked the pizza! 🥰
