I was absolutely amazed watching Ionescu train-truly dizzying and astonishing because of his incredibly skillful technique, speed, and the precision of his table tennis shots. However, when he faced Fan Zhendong in a match, the gap was strikingly clear. It really highlighted just how extraordinary Fan Zhendong is.

Is actually FZD more skillfull than Eduard Ionescu? The answer is NO. Is FZD faster than Eduard Ionescu? The answer is also NO, he is not. However, FZD's game looks way faster in the rallies, FZD looks to recover way faster after every shot. This should be studied by european coaches, not only by Eduard Ionescu's coach, they need a new approach in training the weight transfer
