Pau wrote this song when she was 13. The three sisters are actually classically trained on piano from a very young age. The game Rock Band got them to decide to pick up new instruments. You are right; The Warning never cease to surprise. Thy are one of the great bands out there. Keep on reacting to this amazing band. Cheers!
This song is so deep into the despair of an addict recognizing their need to push away somebody who wants to help them so that they don't drag that person down with them. Chilling! The genius of a 13 year old being able to capture that so perfectly is mind blowing. I love this song so much, even though the more I listen to it the harder it gets.
How could Pau possibly have the power of observation to tap into the despair of addiction at just 13 years old? When she hits the line, “I surrender in my defeat”, I’m gutted…every single time. 😢
To me this is the most powerful line in any of their songs to date. There are many others like “But nobody knows ‘bout the whole in my soul” from When I’m Alone or “Can’t call for help, so I’ll just call my name” and “But there’s nothing within reach now” from Breathe. But this one from Black Holes just hits different.
The Dakota performance was in January 2018, so Dany was 17 (almost 18), Pau was 15 (almost 16) and Ale had just turned 13. The entire Dakota performance was epic! And no one rocks a butterfly shirt like Dany!
Welcome back Harry and Sharlene thought you might like this. Performed when Pau was 15 years old, written by her when she was 13. Unbelievable talent runs through these young ladies. The song itself has deep meaning to me because of my struggles with alcohol. Happy to say been sober over 25 years now and I don't miss it one bit. Excellent reaction as always guys. Peace.
Richard, thanks for you contribution for this. And congrats on 25 years. Amazing the insight these young women have, and their ability to connect through music. For me, "Breathe" hit me like a ton of bricks. As Dany said "Music is passion. Music is hope. Music is...life."
Written at 13. Its such a serious song. I saw a live chat where she said she was so sorry she smiled at the start but it was one of the first times she did it live and she got excited to hear the crowd singing along with her. All 3 are top of the line key board players.
I took the "smiles" as just that sort of reaction. I never considered it an emotional commentary on the song itself, which is of course a tragic one. But I get it... "Holy crap!!! All these people are rocking out to us!! This is friggin' amazing!!!" It's all good especially considering their ages at this time. The whole *concept* at being invited to perform here must have been mind-blowing. Or maybe not; what is "hot" in the American music scene was probably a bit fuzzy in their heads. It may still be, for all I know. 😋
I took the smiles as just her showing her pride in that the audience knew all the words to "her" song. This is a bit of an obscure song in that it is rarely played in concert. She was so happy people like her song. Smile all you want Pau. Do not apologize. The song is gut wrenching but beautiful.
Thanks for pulling this one out of their catalog. Yes, all three of them play piano very well. In fact, the drummer (Pau) usually starts their song writing process on the piano. They are indeed excellent at putting lots of emotion into their singing/performing. Nothing quite like the mix of sisters singing together. The high counter harmonies near the end of this is one of my favorite bits of music in their catalog. You might like to know that they are starting to release some amazing live videos from a concert they gave at the Tearto Metropolitan in Mexico City August 2022. The three tracks they have released so far are stunning. There is one of their Sandman redo that you might enjoy for sure. We are all waiting (not so patiently) for the rest of that concert to be released. It is The Warning, live, at a new level.
@@magnuswendin7924 I can see that .. if you think of it "unless you are Motzart" Piano is indeed the foundation of classical music.. A.K.A Ale on Bass... That Totally makes sence. I did not hear that before .. Thanks !🤘⚡
Thank you very much Richard for donating the funds and requesting this epic song. You rock buddy, thanks for helping spread the love. S&T's, I hope your reading these comments, to learn what this song is all about. All TW Lyrics are deep, and have meaning. They do not write typical (easy) Pop fluff.
I think, I am not wrong to presume, that nearly all TW fans would love them to play this also in their upcoming live performances. You don't have to excuse about tears approaching, this song has made a lot of grown man and women cry.
Dany and Pau speak very highly of Ale. As mentioned, they all agree that she is the best of them on piano. They also claim that Ale is a pitch perfect singer as well even though she has the least developed voice of the three. Pau has mentioned also that Ale has virtually perfect timing as well and is the enforcer when she notices another sister getting out of time at practice. It’s said that if Ale gives you an eye roll that you’ve messed something up. There’s videos out there where Ale trips over a shoe lace while backing up and falls on her butt and end up laying on stage. She continues playing until helped up and only misses a split second of the song.
I’M NOT CRYING! YOU’RE CRYING ! (Almost everyone cries with this song…). As many have said, they all are accomplished piano players. You may also be interested to know that Dany and Alé also play the saxophone. Great reaction, as always

Nothing like a song about falling into addiction to bring out the emotions and Pau wrote that when she was 13. She is the main songwriter for the band and usually starts on the piano, but they all play piano and all have massive influence on the final songs. Pau sings 3 of the ballads on the current album and her emotion cuts through on all those tracks. They are so good live and the newest live recordings are amazing. Just released is the first professionally recorded version of “Disciple”. ruclips.net/video/Wo0odllVq8g/видео.html
Pau also has a video with just her on piano as she covers the song “Creep”. I think it’s incredible and I bet you will as well. Be sure and watch to the very end. I promise it will make you smile at the very least! As always, Cheers from West Texas 😎🤘🏻
The Warning did a concert in the past few days and played "More" a new song that fans recorded and published on youtube. Its more poppunkish than their previous works. Worth a reaction. Thanks to the Warning Army who record all of their concerts.
Regards, now I recommend that you watch the videos that were released these months live from the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City, the sound of the girls, everything, is amazing. greetings and great reaction
From the first time hearing this song in 2016 I must have watched at least 10 different live versions of this song at least 150 times. And yes, it still gets to me every time. They bring so much to every song they sing. I am a 67 yr old rocker and have seen many of the great rock bands of the 60s, 70s and 80s live, and now I can add The Warning to the list of great live shows. I was able to see them in Dallas, TX in May of 22 and they set the house on fire. They attacked each song like it was the last time they would get to play their music live. Ale on the driving bass, Dani delivering as usual on the guitar, and of course Pau beating the drums like they owed her money and it was a month overdue. They were fantastic.
If you get a chance, check out their latest live performance videos from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX recorded last August. They are next level! Enjoyed your reactions as always. 😎👍
I like your doing the older stuff on the warning..the whole queen of the murder scene album is just brilliant..dust to dust with Paulina singing is just awsome !
Firstly great to see you again. Then happy to see you react to The Warning and especially discover the other side of Pau. A Pau-ballad never leaves you with dry eyes. Wait until listening to Revenant and Breathe, trust me I can’t wait to see your reaction.
You can find other videos with each of the sisters playing keyboards. However, if Pau comes off her kit, she’s playing keyboards the entire song. If Dany or Ale play it’s usually a keyboard intro or small part with Pau still playing drums in the song. Just imagine the versatility they have with all three having the ability to play keyboards and sing lead and/or harmonies live. You should see Pau come off her kit and sing lead from the front of stage. It’s a sight to behold.

Did you guys notice the guitar plucking tones that Dany provided that complemented Pau beating the shit out of her keyboard (surprise). Ale kept the rythm going with smooth bass tones but I thought Dany did a great job of filling the background with her guitar, which traditionally is more in the forefront. What an epically great song again by The Warning. It shows their diversity in talent, songwriting, and performance. What more can we expect from a great band?
Damn it, every time I hear Pau sing it hits me in the feels and I get a tear in my eye, her voice has so much emotion. I jokingly say you can tell how old a video is by comparing the size of Ale to her bass (in some of the early videos it is literally as big as her) 😄
All three of them are classically trained on piano, Danny & Ale also play sax., plus their main instruments - not forgetting they can all sing! Quite a sad song about addiction.
Man you guys have Got to see the 3 live videos just released from 2022 at the TEATRO METROPOLITAN THEATRE!! !-ENTER SANDMAN- DISCIPLE & ANIMOSITY!!! THESE ARE QUALITY ! & THE SOUND IS AWESOME!! THESE ARE THERE BEST LIVE PERFORMANCES YET!! DONT MISS THEM!!

Fun Ale story was Dany picked the guitar and Pau the drums but Ale was too young still but she loved watching. when I think she was 3 she was watching Bands and suddenly said I want that. I don't know what it is but I want to play that. She got her bass and it was a cut down Bass and it was still bigger then she was. She learned it in very quick time.
The two of you do great reactions. If you really liked that performance then ‘Breathe’ from the Pepsi Center CDMX 2023 will absolutely blow you away. But you’ll need to enable auto translate captions for a spoken bit before the song.
This tune is one of their "tear jerkers". It's horrible, yet beautiful, and really expresses the range of their stupid raw talent. And yes, as no doubt many others have mentioned, they *all* play piano. It's not that surprising; getting kids piano lessons is kind of _de rigueur_ for upper-middle-class parents in Mexico and is how they all started out musically, really. But it certainly wasn't wasted on these young ladies, that's for sure. Pau writes the initial pass on her songs on piano, then presents it to her sisters that way before they start refining a tune.
The Warning first performed this song on March 15, 2016 at Dirty Dog Bar Austin USA. ruclips.net/video/lu6h-5tny1E/видео.html Here is another video with better quality. June 11, 2016 McAllen USA. ruclips.net/video/DBovJzEFgk4/видео.html
you should find and react to Pau's cover of RadioHead's CREEP... she learned it as a challenge in about 4 hours and turned out the video shot with her, the family piano (that most all of their songs start on), and her phone... if you think this one is moving, be WARNED about this next one 🤟🐱 🤟
De este recital no puedo dejar de escuchar our mistakes / wildfire tocan estás canciones seguidas 🤘🎵🤘🎶 PD: la caras de Paulina! Son para alquilar balcones 🤣🤣🤣
To be a bit a bit critical, the opening lines show inexperience in that the words seen to fall over each other, rather than flowing. And yet . . . The image they invoke of a scarred young woman, alone and wracked with self loathing is very powerful and horrible, and yet at the same time the song is beautiful. If "Don't let go" is sad, "Don't hold on" is heartbreaking. Thanks for the reaction.
There is too much talent, virtuosity, beauty, charisma, power, creativity, the desire to be, kindness, support, inspiration, synergy, etc. All of it in a small 3 piece pack (apparently only 3) which is very small... But with nuclear content!! And if this were a commodity, and it could be done, I would buy all the possible stock shares of the brand on the stock market. I would do the best business, with the greatest projection and that will give me the best dividends. It's a super safe bet!! TW have a huge list of songs of the best musical and artistic level, complete and rounded, both in their lyrics and in their instrumentation. In addition, they are 3 women who are each one of the best as human beings and have the impetus to "devour" the world. You put this combination of pure talent and energy on stage and you get: The Warning An unmissable bet!!
Welcome back you was missed.
Great reaction. I love your reactions, Hello from México! Yo must react to Disciple or Animosity live from Teatro Metropolitan in México City
This song makes me tear up every time, PAU emotions is captivating and the harmonies WOW🤘🔥
The warning is the future about the good music, listen this song in live in Pepsi center cdmx the beat
My favorite song from The Warning...one of two songs I have the handwritten lyrics to on my wall(personally penned by Pau of course)
If you get a chance, check out their latest live performance videos from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX recorded last August. They are next level! Enjoyed your reactions as always. 😎👍
The three of them play the piano, they begin playing classical piano since they whey just babies.
pau uses the piano to compose.
You guys have to react to Paulina´s cover of CREEP it´s just perfect
We did in one of our livestreams. Sooooo good!!! 🤘🏻
From the title, I thought for a second that The Warning had covered "Black Hole" by Band-Maid... Go on, laugh, but that would be cool, wouldn't it?
I like your doing the older stuff on the warning..the whole queen of the murder scene album is just brilliant..dust to dust with Paulina singing is just awsome !
WE ALL TRIED TO TELL Y'ALL! LOL...Welcome to the TWA Tear Club. lol
Thanks, Harry and Sharlene, this performance hits me hard every time. Role on June when I go to see them, can't wait 🤘 ⚡
They are amazing in person. They are a treasure.
This song gets me everytime!😥😪😭😭😭👍😉❤
They all 3 was classical trained on the Piano from age 3.
You loved that listen to the warning (Pau)singing and playing piano on the song creep
I'll say it again and again. Do NOT recommend this to anyone without the instruction to let the video run to the very end. It's important.
We listened to Creep in one of our livestreams while our main channel was down. You can check out our reaction here 😊 ruclips.net/video/WJFOKdKRjfc/видео.html
PS: This reaction (Black Hole) was recorded quite a while ago but we couldn't upload it while the channel was down.
I jokingly say you can tell how old a video is by comparing the size of Ale to her bass (in some of the early videos it is literally as big as her) 😄
Good video! 👌🏼🇲🇽
If you haven't checked out Pau covering Creep then do so .She is exceptional.
I'll say it again. Do not recommend this to anyone without the instruction to let the video run to the very end. It's important.
Heya god to see you back 🤘🤘
All three of them are classically trained on piano, Danny & Ale also play sax., plus their main instruments - not forgetting they can all sing! Quite a sad song about addiction.
True artists.
Did you checked out Pau singing Radiohead's Creep alone just with piano ?
I'll say it again and again. Do NOT recommend this to anyone without the instruction to let the video run to the very end. It's important.
We reacted to Disciple Live in our live stream (08 March 2023). It was awesome, they really did an incredible job! You can check it out on this link: ruclips.net/video/Onqxkg4e1iQ/видео.html
@@SongsandThongs great! Thanks!
@@SongsandThongs watched it didn't find the warning??
Fun Fact: All three are classically trained on piano.
Excellent my friends
Fun Ale story was Dany picked the guitar and Pau the drums but Ale was too young still but she loved watching. when I think she was 3 she was watching Bands and suddenly said I want that. I don't know what it is but I want to play that. She got her bass and it was a cut down Bass and it was still bigger then she was. She learned it in very quick time.
The two of you do great reactions. If you really liked that performance then ‘Breathe’ from the Pepsi Center CDMX 2023 will absolutely blow you away. But you’ll need to enable auto translate captions for a spoken bit before the song.
Great reaction as always. I enjoyed it a lot, thank you!
Incredible
♥
The Warning first performed this song on March 15, 2016 at Dirty Dog Bar Austin USA.

Here is another video with better quality. June 11, 2016 McAllen USA.

you should find and react to Pau's cover of RadioHead's CREEP... she learned it as a challenge in about 4 hours and turned out the video shot with her, the family piano (that most all of their songs start on), and her phone... if you think this one is moving, be WARNED about this next one 🤟🐱 🤟
The Warning is ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 Greetings from Argentina
Paulina wrote this masterpiece at the age of thirteen.
Great reaction guys 🤘 you've been Warned 🤘
Pau's masterpiece 🤘
There is too much talent, virtuosity, beauty, charisma, power, creativity, the desire to be, kindness, support, inspiration, synergy, etc.
All of it in a small 3 piece pack (apparently only 3) which is very small...
But with nuclear content!!
And if this were a commodity, and it could be done,
I would buy all the possible stock shares of the brand on the stock market.
You put this combination of pure talent and energy on stage and you get:
The Warning
An unmissable bet!!
Your next reaction to TW should be "Animosity Alive Teatro Metropólitan CDMX"
ruclips.net/video/K8VPX-diRl4/видео.html
It's an original song like 40 others and more that they have created.
And all with "TW" quality, which means the highest quality exposed.
Cheers

I love these ladies, and I loved your reaction. I would like it more than once if I could. Pau is the master of rock ballads.
All 3 girls play piano and Danny also plays saxophone
Have you seen their Escape the mind video from their School from 2015?
They have all been classically trained since childhood
You should do Pau's Version of Creep by Radiohead. It was a Challenge and she had toi learn iut in just a few hours. It is only her doing it and only on the Piano.
Love your reaction ♥️ 🤘
You need to seriously listen to Pau's version of Creep by Radiohead - stunning!
I'll say it again. Do not recommend this to anyone without the instruction to let the video run to the very end. It's important.
