Correct. The judges daughter should NOT be part of this process, but she IS, and thats why they are trying to get the judge to recuse himself so we can have a fair trial that won't get overturned on appeal.
Once the daughter started raising money for democrats based on her affiliation with the trump case she is part of the process. When someone enters politics they are now a public figure not a private citizen. Especially when large sums of money are involved.
