Also, I agree with you 100 on Cuban taste profiles. When a Cuban cigar is processed, constructed and aged properly, there is no other region that produces cigars that can obtain the same flavor. There is an elegance and sophistication to the flavor that stands alone in the Cubans.
@@TheVintageCigar lots of people criticizing things they don't really much about on the other end of that too. I'll save the rest of that for another time. Stay up..
Cubans used to NOT be that expensive… 10-20% more then a regular cigar from any country. What Habano SA did was (part owned by Chine btw) match all the prices to the most expensive market (offcourse, they want to make money) of Hongkong. What then happend was that chinese ”diplomats” scoured for instance the UK market, bought up what they could, exported it to china and sold it at double the price it was in the UK. Now we that live in europe don’t get allmost any cigars as Habano SA has realised thatdiverting the cigars to the Asian market makes them waaaaay more money. 2023 they sold a third less in quantaty but made almost double in income. Furthermore they have just announced that ”some” importers (read not owned by HabanoSA themselves) will face even higher shortages then before. So the prices will inflate even more. For example a Cochiba (if you can get it) is priced north of 150 dollars per stick at this point… yeah NOT happening.

My man! Love your stories. Keep em comin!
I got you.
Haven't tried Cuban's yet, but I can usually tell the difference between Sumatran, Dominican, Nicaraguan and Honduran almost every single time!
It's worth the try

I just hate the position that Cubans are in. Everyone should be able to enjoy them properly
