As 2020 has kept so many people apart I thought it would be the perfect time to record some conversations with some of my favourite musicians from all over the world. Plini Roessler-Holgate is an Australian guitarist and songwriter. Steve Vai described him as "the future of exceptional guitar playing", and the website MusicRadar named Plini the best prog guitarist of 2017.
His new album ‘Impulse Voices’ is his most ambitious and creative yet, gaining massive critical acclaim including over 1 million Spotify streams in it’s first 24 hours online. In this podcast we discuss the making of the record, future plans and influences, as well as the recent controversy around the MTV European Music Awards. Special shoutout to Chris Allison’s beard.

I remember that tuning incident at the vegas show. We were watching the tech do a string change right before the show started thinking "thats crazy strandbergs dont have to let the strings stretch or something". Still a great show/memory
Exactly, two of the best guitarists in the world, excelent entertainers, both gracious persons even if they don't think so about themselves, part of what makes them great. The world is a better place with you both in it! Best wishes

the album is a killer, I love every single track, which I don't say very often. Gotta agree with Mike, it's Plini's best so far. And te sax parts? arm hair raising.
Plini's Neural DSP plugin sounds great. I love it and I'm a Luddite. Well worth the money.
