I have an earlier LP with the LIFE Sentence logo across it once, never took to it, this album is leaps and bounds much better than the earlier stuff!! Thanks for posting.
So much more talent, powerful and faster than their earlier stuff. My band played a Punk Piknik with them in my city 10-15yrs ago and they asked if I wanted to drum for them going forward. Sadly I told them no as my band was playing often. Wish I said yes though. lol
Who, tom? Prolly not, just when they came to bham a few times...we were so fucking lucky, but I recall..eric, Tom, Ray and omg, can't remember his name..he was still in high school!! Dark hair, SO fucking nice...we bitched about school together and Ray mowed my front yard (for staying there). He was...intense. But I'll NEVER forget they fucking ROCKED live. Dammit those were the days.
Whuuut. How crazy is it that I found out about Life Sentence from D.R.I. wearing their shirts live 😂 and it turns out two brothers are in both bands!? How did I not know that? Lol so good
Man there was a stretch one summer where all I listened to was this and SNFU “Better Than a Stick In The Eye”. They both continue to hold up today. So good.
I remember back in the day when we all heard about the best bands via word of mouth, 'zines, album art, and actually I found many bands from what shirts my fav bands wore 😂 D.R.I. turned me onto Life Sentence in the 80s, because of wearing their shirts live

I've had the first record since the late 1980's, but I've never heard this one before. I'm totally surprised by how good it is...
You know what type of guitar pedal they use?
It's better than expected 😅
Wow, I never even knew this existed ! The first album is a classic! Glad I stumbled on this. Thanks for posting.
God damn I loved these guys!! One of the greatest shows I ever had the pleasure of catching back in the day.
This album is incredible.
I am so glad i got to see this band at the axis in fort worth texas. One of my all time favorite bands ever.
Life sentences was im style DRI, the drummer was the brother from Kurt DRI.Very good hc, and post punk.

Best band to come out of Chicago with raygun
A blog had everything ever recorded by Life Sentence and now it’s gone. Still have that downloaded on my iPod classic lol
I’d kill for a disc of it
Saw them in Germany ca. 2006 playing in a small basement. I loved their unpretentious attitude. They just had their stuff repressed on CD-R for sale.

Great and wonderful
The overdose bass sound of that Lp makes me think of Sacrilege BC and early Neurosis
Chicago punk icons
Good old toothchip and thrash!
This is so solid
Always thought Eric was a good guy. Cabaret Metro was so sweet in the eighties.
Up The Punx! ❤
better than the best
harbi mi diyosun?
最初に聞いたんだけどギターの音が軽い😮
Kinda lame without the 7 seconds like vocals.
Understandable. I still think it's a solid record but def not as good as the first
7 Not-so-straight-edge Seconds
Bullshit🧷🔊
@@aleksun6783 finde ich halt schon.
Different line up, only one original guy I think
gutes Album 🔨🚀🚀🖤!!!
