Happy New Year James. I must tell you though that I blame you completely for my latest second hand purchase. I wanted a Canon TS 24mm MkII but couldn't afford it right now so had to settle for a Samyang TS 24mm instead. However I've been pondering TS lenses for some time and you have to start somewhere. I have set myself a project to photograph inside and out some English Cathedrals so 'inspired by your episodes on TS use, I had to take the plunge ! Guess who I'm going to blame if it doesn't work out :)

Hi, I found your channel a short time ago and I realy love it.
I"d like to consult with you about purchasing a TS lens.
My budget allow me a used canon ts 24mm first gen or a new samyang ts 24mm.
    What would you recommend?

Sorry for the slow reply. Honestly, I would go for the Canon. If you don't use much keeps re-sale value better. but overall a better lens too. Go for a good second copy!

the lens you have on the R5 is distorted very badly... if you can't fix that in software i would throw that lens away

15-35mm f2.8, not sure about throwing away £2k - but sure.
