I don’t eat sugar for more than a year now and I am still alive and healthy. Eat more fruits and vegetables and good meat. Coffee and tea without sugar at all…. I feel better every single day and exercise 3 times a week 👍👍👍 No carbs No calories No processed foods
Fruits and vegetables have good cards. The natural one. You have to pick the better ones, which have more antioxidants, fiber, and nutrients. Also healthy nuts like almonds, apricots and walnuts. Read the ingredients when you buy the food. Drink pH water. Carrots, beets, pineapple, and apricots are great sources to bring down inflammation. Pain in my body has gone down considerably. Thank God for providing the nutrients our bodies need to heal and thrive 🙏
I didn't drink soda I didn't eat sweets or candy; I still have 3 lbs of a 5 lb bag of sugar I bought in 1997. Sugar per se was not my problem... glucose was. in the form of homemade bread, tortillas, pasta and beans. That's what gave me Insulin Resistance and then the weight started to come on. 6 months carnivore now - 40 lbs lighter, normal BMI, only 20 pounds left to go... feeling good, sharp, happy.
As a longtime resident in Japan, a small correction……Wakame is the seaweed found in Miso soup. The broth used to make miso soup is made with Kombu & fish flakes. Wakame is also used in a common seaweed salad as it’s very thin where Kombu or kelp is quite thick and needs special preparation to be eaten on its own.

*Sugar can sneak into your diet in several unexpected ways. Here are some common sources:* 1. Processed Foods - Many packaged foods, including sauces, salad dressings, and snacks, often contain added sugars, even if they don’t taste sweet. 2. Beverages - Sugary drinks like sodas, energy drinks, sweetened teas, and even fruit juices can add significant amounts of sugar to your diet. 3. Breakfast Cereals - Many breakfast cereals, including those marketed as healthy, can be high in added sugars. Always check the label for sugar content. 4. Condiments - Items like ketchup, barbecue sauce, and teriyaki sauce often contain hidden sugars that can accumulate quickly. 5. Baked Goods - Pastries, cakes, cookies, and muffins often have high sugar content. Even seemingly healthy options like granola bars can be loaded with sugar. 6. Dairy Products - Flavored yogurts, milk alternatives, and creamers can contain added sugars. Opt for plain versions when possible. 7. Snacks - Many snacks, including granola bars, protein bars, and even certain types of nuts, can have added sugars for flavor enhancement. 8. Fruit - While whole fruits are healthy, fruit juices and dried fruits can have concentrated sugars and added sweeteners. 9. Cooking and Baking - When cooking or baking, it’s easy to add sugar without realizing it, especially in recipes that call for sweeteners. 10. Eating Out - Restaurant meals often contain hidden sugars in sauces and marinades. Even salads can have sugary dressings. Tips to Reduce Sugar Intake - Read Labels: Always check the ingredient lists for added sugars. - Choose Whole Foods: Focus on whole, unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins. - Limit Sweetened Beverages: Choose water, unsweetened tea, or coffee to reduce sugar intake from drinks. - Cook at Home: Preparing your own meals allows you to control the ingredients and avoid hidden sugars.

*Summary* The video discusses the impact of sugar and carbohydrates on energy levels, health perceptions, and dietary habits. Here’s a summary of the key points: Lethargy from Sugar Overload: While sugar is typically associated with energy, consuming too much can lead to feelings of tiredness and lethargy. This paradox is explained through glucose spikes and dips. Soda Consumption: Many people underestimate the sugar content in soda, which can contain 7 to 9 teaspoons of refined sugar per serving. This hidden sugar contributes to health issues without individuals realizing it. Healthy Appearances but Poor Diets: Some individuals may consider themselves healthy but consume high amounts of sugar through sodas, snacks, and processed foods. The discussion highlights that even athletes can overconsume sugars through fruit and sports drinks. Calorie Misconceptions: The notion that "calories in, calories out" is overly simplistic. Calories are just a measure of energy, and the quality of that energy matters significantly for overall health. Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol is presented as part of human culture and celebration. However, it’s also important to recognize its potential health impacts and the need for moderation. Caffeine in Coffee: The video also touches on coffee, emphasizing its health benefits beyond caffeine, such as chlorogenic acid, which supports circulation and metabolism. Mushrooms: The distinction between culinary and medicinal mushrooms is made, suggesting that both have benefits but should be approached differently in terms of consumption. Matcha Tea: Matcha is highlighted for its unique properties, including varying caffeine levels depending on harvesting times and methods. Overall, the video stresses the importance of understanding food choices, recognizing hidden sugars, and appreciating the complexity of how different foods affect our health.

With big pharma underwriting 80% of medical school costs doctors in training are going to be taught to use drugs as their primary method of treatment. There are not going to be many courses on nutrition or prevention of illness.
I agree. In one of Dr Li’s iTunes, I think with Jim Kwik, he states healthcare is up to us too. Thank goodness we can do so much ourselves between appointments and for me just being aware or cautious about prescriptions.
When Dr Li mentioned lectins, I immediately thought of Dr Gundry. Thanks for your clarification n "reset" Dr Li... we need to hear that❤
Talk about lipolymphoedema! Could that be some disfunction of brown fat?
In the UK that drink was called cocoa. Pronounced koko. Not kakaow.
Persimmon is rarely available where l live. It is not ripe when you buy it. It can shrivel up before it gets ripe unfortunately. Caci fruit is another name for it.

That would mean he created all of the awful things in the world. The terrible things that are out of our control. And yet you get on your knees and thank him for this broken world. You must be a crazy person
And did He also make the big pharma companies who get us hooked on drugs we don’t need and the big food companies who poison us with UPF’s!

Even though they taste good I've learned to drink the non-alcoholic versions.
Non alcoholic beers taste very close to the real thing nowadays, it si constantly being improved too. What's missing is the reward our brains expect after swallowing the liquids.

The whole time you’re the doctor your head is bouncing up and down, indicating you agree I guess
Like many other listeners, PLEASE make these videos shorter and get to the main points and info alot more quickly Most of these videos could be done in 20 min. Is there a point of pay off if you creat such lengthy talks with a lot of filler?
And for me I love to hear the whole thing to hear tid bits I would have missed. We’re all different.
A bit too well-meaning discourse
