- Part 2 of the introductory lesson on the lymphatic system, with a focus on the nature and purpose of lymph nodes and the nature of lymphatic circulation.
Afferent lymphatic vessels transport lymphatic fluid towards lymph nodes.
Lymphatic capillaries drain into progressively larger lymphatic vessels. These
lymphatic vessels have valves to ensure one way flow of the lymphatic fluid (or
lymph) away from the tissues and towards the lymph nodes. In this respect they
have a drainage function similar to veins, although lymphatic vessels have more
valves and thinner walls. As lymphatic vessels may drain bacteria from a site of
tissue infection, it is sometimes possible to see 'tracking' of inflammation along
the line of a lymphatic vessel. This is a classical clinical feature and may indicate
spread of the infection.
You are genius in this field. I have all understood your all lectures besides others.
To find a teacher like Dr. JOHN is like finding water in the desert or discovering gold.
Thank you Professor. God bless you. You are AMAZING.
you save me health-another gr8 one-so much knowledge at such a deep level-esp imp at 16 mins in this one "cancer cells can invade the tissue of...." holy moly-
Yes, the lymphatic system in involved in cancer protection in ways I for sure don't understand.
Thanks very much Dr. campbell
you save me time thanks Stay blessed
thank you so much for this vid helped me alot !
Thank you so much! I'm currently being subjected to the awful read of my A&P book and I wasn't sure if I was getting the right points out of it. My incredibly loving but squirrelly professor isn't helping either. Thank you so much for keeping it simple!
at 29 mins vip observation on drainage left and fats and gastro and right plain-nd protiens but you kept dropping secret inights that in my opinion are important for anyone who has undergone major surgeries and long term chronic dis-ease-amazing off to next no 3
Amazing as usual =)
thanks Sir!
that was too gud.......thank u sir
Excellent
you know dr jc-went from 16 mins to 22 mins with many rewinds to understand and visualize this or these very important concepts-based on personal needs and past and current medical situations-much has become apparent in the biological process and this very important human system-i learn and have alot of what ifs questions looking for answers and i quess the questions are sent to universe and the answers are coming forth-my wish for the future of humanity is a possibilty of interactive communication which would provide clarity and understanding and help establish proper protocols and possible therapies to address these lymphatic issues or our tissues=gr8shares=manymanythxs
Yes, immunity is vital for just about everything. Its an amazing system.
Thank you
Thanks dr 🙏👍👌👏
I can see from your talk what happens to the filtered sterile fluid. It gets dumped back into the venous system. What happens to all of the crud that gets filtered out of the lymphatic system? How does this "waste" get out of the body?
Today I learned about violence and war and death. A deadly ambush. I almost feel sorry for those bacterium.
Do you have videos on body defenses
yes there is a series on immunity, in youtube type in 'campbellteaching immunity' and you will find the series
