Sir, you are the best. i always look upon you for guidance in the field of Science studies . you are the teacher every Student should have. lucky to have you Sir.
Dr. Campbell, I want to correct one thing you said in here just so future viewers/readers aren't basing their understanding on outdated information. The process you are discussing is that which relates to the traditional teaching and understanding of the Sterling Principle. In 2010 the Sterling Principle was revised as it was discovered that this excess fluid which leaves the arteriole region of the blood capillaries due to hydrostatic pressures, is actually NOT at all reabsorbed in the Venule region. This is due to the understanding that the Glycocalyx layer disrupts the oncotic pressure gradient upon reabsorption. The lymphatic system is 100% responsible for the transportation and processing of the excess fluid that filtered into the interstitial space. I definitely don't mean to undermine you as you have far more knowledge than me, however, this needs to be understood so that we are providing adequate methods of treatment to patients.
Glycocalyx sorrounds the cells. There are pores between the cells. The fluid that escapes back to the venules cannot be stopped by glycocalyx. It will diffuse through the pores towards its concentration gradient with oncotic pressure acting on it.But because of equilibrium, lymph vessels drain the excess. So you can't say that fluid doesn't get back to the venules at the venules end at all. My thoughts
I've watched several of your videos and have taken away so much already. I didn't even realize your accent until you said capillaries. Please know that I appreciate your videos, they are helping me through my biology courses.
Thank you so much sir u have elucidated it very sensibly and coherently. Like the book didn't even mention that it directly went to the point that lymph vessels drain excess fluid and start talking about the last point u mentioned which is its importance.... Thank you very much again u never fail to make me understand sir :''''' DDD
Thank you for the time you spent making this video and also for the great explanations. It is amazing to understand things, I love the feeling. And you helped us to understand them.💫👏
Hi thankyou for your videos, What would be a healthy way to repair any damage to lymphatic and endocrine systems and a healthy maintenance of them please?
Thank you so much! I'm suffering from lyphoedema and this started after possibly having a thyroid storm that 3 diff hospitals failed to diagnose. I was referred to a endocrinologist by my heart doctor who I seen bc of persistent chest pain and he actually checked my TSH and unlike my doctor of 6-7 years who I repeatedly told her prior to this to check my thyroid bc I had extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, my eyes get blood shot and I will get a fever of 99-100 degrees w/ a normal WBC count. Not sure if the eyes and fever are related to my thyroid issues but the fatigue, weight gain, and muscle weakness were due to my thyroid issue but she wouldn't send me to a specialist and didn't ever treat my condition. During the storm my heart would start to race while at rest; it's been 6 months and I'm still suffering from the lymphoedema. There has not been any doctor that has been able to help or explain anything to do with the lymphatic system. I had to figure out what it was myself by reading medical journals on NIH which I ave done prior to this bc I have issues with my back. But this was a whole new issue that is not very well understood by doctors. Thank you for explaining this so well. I take vitamin C every day which has helped along with using Hibiclens since having MRSA and I see why cellulitis would be an issue if you have lymphoedema. By using this with my normal soap has prevented any skin infections luckily. Hopefully this info helps bc you did the best I've heard explaining this issue.
Thanks Dr for taking time to answer my question. I have had several health challenges like asthma, hypoglycemia pancreatic tumor and few others due to excessive consumption of sugar and the entire body tissue of my left side painful to touch after years of LF dieting. when I had surgery to remove the tumor in my pancreas my gall bladder was removed as well, thus my reason for the LF diet. No, l have no edema, just the pocket of fluid under my left knee and the left side of my body a few millimeters bigger.
This is great information thank you. I believe I understand how my lymph nodes are now affected from my vaccination injury. It shows on my scans that foreign material is trapped in my lymph nodes and now I think I understand why my system is clogged and I'm experiencing serious side effects. I have some further questions and hope you can respond to this comment with some ideas for questions and tests I can request of my medical practitioner.
Iam really very happy dr. Campbell for your well explaination. That is great keep up that spirit with you. I may also like to always sharing with you Dr . Thank you , may God bless you
Inflammation has to be correlated with the triggers circulating in the system. There has to be the presence of reactants causing to the subsequent responses
GMailLeonard No, if a lymph node is removed it will not regenerate. This is why there can be regional problems with oedema after resection of lymph nodes.

Dr. Campbell, you are special, a great teacher of our time
exactly what you explained came out in my exams... you are the best sir
I think you have the best method of explanation! Keep it up!
Thaaank you Dr.John this video was very helpful and easy to understand 🌸
Your videos are hands down my favorite anatomy videos
Thanks.... You're very organized and thank you so much tutor
Thank you Dr. Campbell
The way you explained it is the best, I was struggling with it but I understand how it goes now.
Thank you for the time you spent making this video and also for the great explanations. It is amazing to understand things, I love the feeling. And you helped us to understand them.💫👏
Wow that makes sense to me now, very well explained!!
you’ve made me understand something I couldn’t understand for 2 years in 7 minutes - Thankyou so much!!!
Life saver brilliant teaching sir
writing grade 11 bio tomorrow these videos have been helping me so much
Hi thankyou for your videos,
What would be a healthy way to repair any damage to lymphatic and endocrine systems and a healthy maintenance of them please?
I really hope he answers this bc I have the same question.
Thank you for this and very well presented it is too of course. Well done too.
Allow me to salute you Dr...... you ve helped me a lot may almighty God be with you ❤
Excellent lecture Dr. 👍
Incredibly well described!! Not that I knew anything about this, but now I do! :) thanks!

EXCELLENT. THANK YOU DR.CAMPBELL
Amazing. Thank you so much.
Big science legend 🤞❤️❤️
Perfectly done, I will now look for all your videos , thank you.

As u said that rbcs cant pass through capillary walls and arent present in tissue fluid ,how do they provide oxygen to the cells?
oxygen diffuses through the capillary walls
@@Campbellteaching thank you sir.
You are awesome
Your great dr john Campbell sir valuable information you r providing through your videos thanks 20/06/2021👌
Simple fascinating ! Thank you very much
U are awesome sir!
Thank you so much Dr! you have my study so easy.
You are the best. Thank you very much.
Sir ...please is this explanation also related to the formation of ascites...?
This is great information thank you. I believe I understand how my lymph nodes are now affected from my vaccination injury. After Nine years This information is still relevant
Sir please can you please translate the English while speaking. It will be much better for some of us .
May the Lord grant you much knowledge sir
Thank you for this in-depth scientific explanation. Oh, and the lymphatic capillaries look a bit like a deer 😉
What about cheonic edema cause by eating carbs or salty food?
Awesome! Mighty thanks to ya!
Inflammation has to be correlated with the triggers circulating in the system. There has to be the presence of reactants causing to the subsequent responses
U r great sir
Outsanding teacher
Thank you Dr John
Is this suitable for 16 year olds ? AS students ?
A new question: How do spike proteins affect the Lymphatic System?
Excellent talks
Nice.
Can the lymph nodes get regenerated after doctor dissects them?
GMailLeonard No, if a lymph node is removed it will not regenerate. This is why there can be regional problems with oedema after resection of lymph nodes.
Brilliant!
Sir please explain about spleen
Thank you sir
excellent
U r good
Great
Wow thanks alot
Sir, ur language is going over my head
