I backed the Max and got one of the loaner Pro 2s. It's impressive, and I own a JVC NZ7. It feels like it bridges the gap between TV and projector. Dolby Vision content has never looked better on a projector.
I have an NZ7 so interested in more of your thoughts on this comparison. I have a 120" AT screen. I love the NZ7 but for my next projector sticking with JVC is an expensive proposition so curious how these new DLPs will pan out. How would you compare contrast, black levels, brightness? Does the Valerion do full fade to black with laser diming? Thanks.
@@confinoj brightness, sharpness and tone mapping are 100% better on the Valerion. Black levels it's not going to match, but if you have masking you may not notice it as much. It is most noticeable to me in black bars. That said if you value black level and contrast performance above all else, you should stick with the JVC. I think the Dolby Vision support is huge, there's content that looks too dark on my NZ7 that looks better on the Valerion.
I cant tell if your viewers really hate projectors or RUclips did a derp with the notifications, Valerion is a pretty neat projector from what I've seen online.
Great projectors fomo , I am surprised you and both aren't talking about the affordable 10 thousand dollar 81 inch Awall micro led and the 75 inch is 8 thousand.
Days of projectors in majority of homes are numbered. Most rooms will be happy with 100” screen and now soon you will enjoy brilliant quality without projector restrictions. In houses where bigger screen is more suitable, owners will be able to afford bigger tv also.
Definitely, this company has Amazing well build high quality products ! Imagine immerge yourself into that Giant 220" Home Movies Theater SCEEN at your home , TOTALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD !!! If the products is affordable,? Love to have something like this !!! 😍💖📽🖥💖💯👌🌏✌️🙏
This is really nice but my setup is more suited for televisions. If I had a big nice room to dedicate to a projector I would consider it but I don't. I would love new great big TVs with 3D again though. They can be FANTASTIC experiences!
I haven't seen the NZ8 but own the NZ7. The tone mapping and Dolby vision support is superior. Black level is not, but it's the best DLP I've ever seen and I've owned 4 of them, most recently the LG HU810P. The scenes that were unwatchable on that projector look great on the Pro2.
RUclips this video from the hookup. The nz8 wins imo but if I’m spending my money, I’m going with the valerion and spend the other 10k on something else. Valerion Vision Master Pro 2 vs JVC NZ8 Side by Side Footage
Are you on a mobile device? I notice sometimes now RUclips on mobile will lock out some of the options but if closing the app and reopening it will allow the functions to come back. I don't know if RUclips purposely did that or if it's a bug.

It’s pretty crazy that Valerian has better tone mapping that all of the other projectors. I’m so happy to see more competition in the market.

Do the wireless speakers connect directly to the Valerion or need a dongle? Also are they Bluetooth or some other kind of radio?
I’ll check when I get them in for review

I'll use it indoors and outdoors.
Can it come even close to the JVC NZ8, etc?
The question is does the JVC NZ8 or other projectors that cost 5x as much actually perform 5x better?
@@DLPHomeCinema so it doesn't. ok. Heard of diminishing returns, of course you don't get equal increase in performance with price....
