- I enjoyed making my Scrappy Junk Journal so much that I couldn't wait to do more with it ... so I made what I am calling Scrappy Rag Tags. I'm using scraps of paper from other projects and adding more scraps, including fabric, to them. I also show how I will use some of them in my journal. I did forget to hot record at one point so missed some of the process on some of the tags but I'll be making these again in future if you want to see more. #junkjournal #mixedmedia #useyourscraps

There’s something very soothing watching you create with glue and scraps. It reminds me of slow stitching, no end result in mind, just doing. Thank you.
Thank you Jackie. I think it is very much like slow stitching because it is very much about the process and just getting lost in it. I’m going to do another video on this 9not least because I missed ab it if the filming in this one) but I’m going to show it at normal speed and I think it will show how relaxing it actually is 💗

Kylie, I must be very emotional today because I love what you made so much I got teary!!! Those little tabs are just so dear! The supplies you had on hand to make these were gorgeous. The mark making and gesso additions were perfect, but the threads and fabrics you added just made each tag absolutely fabulous! TFS. 🙏🥰
Oh Evelyn 🤗 I always have so many bits of paper lying around and I’m always taking more scraps and making them into collage - I don’t think I’ll ever get close to using them all up. I nearly got a bit teary when I realised that I had missed a bit of filming and I wasn’t going to put the video up but then I thought … I’m human and hopefully people will understand. I’m going to do another anyway and maybe at a slower speed. 💗

Thanks for the inspiration. Looking over at the stack of envelopes I have and thinking about making a “junky junk envelope junk journal” and using my gel prints. My husband is finally home from the hospital and I just need to unwind. He’s resting and I can craft the day away. Take care.

What fun. I do this sometimes and the ironic thing is that I end up with just as many scraps. They’re just a little smaller. I’ve actually started throwing things away. I know, horrors.
The scraps become never-ending! I’ve some that I’m certain have been around for a decade - just getting smaller and smaller 🤣

Yes I did Jeanne. I had a ‘follow’ from an account that looked like you on IG and I followed back and then a message from that account. I’ve sent you a screenshot of that to your actual IG account. I also had a ‘strange’ comment on my latest FB post which I’ve since deleted which suggests you’ve been hacked or cloned in some way.
