needed this kind of information soo much, i have been learning unreal engine 5.3 and i'm making some environments and 3d product renders to polish my skills but you video gave me a clear idea of what i need to do in order to achieve my goal of being a game developer and publish my own games one day

As a game dev myself, I do think that within a short span of 10 mins, you've covered quite a lot of things in this vid. Great job!! That Udemy Unity course packs quite a punch I should say! Helped me a lot in the past!! I would suggest a GameDev to have some really good understanding in Geometry and Physics as you truly and rightly said. Blender knowledge also would come in handy for 3D modelling if needed to create your own models later down the line in your GameDev career!! All the best!❤

Game development is also a kind of software development which needs good knowledge of API, optimisation, math, basically everything in software development. It is by far the hardest type of software development. Hope employers realise that one day.
Guys i will recommend unity for making games as making games in unreal engine can require really beefy systems, and in unity you can make multi-platform games super easily:- What i mean is that suppose you made a game in windows that same game you can make for mac/linux/phone/console with a few clicks, but if your game is made for windows then if u want to make a version for android you have to add on-screen controls like joystick and buttons rest everything is super simple. Also you can add unity's ads into your game for revenue

I am a game developer and I will recommend new ones to start with C++ and DSA if they want to create AAA level game with unreal. Or if hypercasual then they can start with C# and unity. Keep in mind that in India unreal roles are less than unity. And also in current situation you can not make much money from game dev jobs in India. Freelance is most people prefer to do in this field. But let see what market does in upcoming years.

I am a game developer and I will recommend new ones to start with C++ and DSA if they want to create AAA level game with unreal. Or if hypercasual then they can start with C# and unity.
Keep in mind that in India unreal roles are less than unity.
And also in current situation you can not make much money from game dev jobs in India. Freelance is most people prefer to do in this field.
But let see what market does in upcoming years.

c# is the best language ever existed. Harry try c# version 11 or 12 features. Better than JS, Python, Go etc.
