Guys i will recommend unity for making games as making games in unreal engine can require really beefy systems, and in unity you can make multi-platform games super easily:- What i mean is that suppose you made a game in windows that same game you can make for mac/linux/phone/console with a few clicks, but if your game is made for windows then if u want to make a version for android you have to add on-screen controls like joystick and buttons rest everything is super simple. Also you can add unity's ads into your game for revenue

I am a game developer and I will recommend new ones to start with C++ and DSA if they want to create AAA level game with unreal. Or if hypercasual then they can start with C# and unity. Keep in mind that in India unreal roles are less than unity. And also in current situation you can not make much money from game dev jobs in India. Freelance is most people prefer to do in this field. But let see what market does in upcoming years.
this is a really really really broad view, in actuality. most developers specialize in 2d or 3d games or basic or advance multiplier. just a simple game like mario or contra can sell millions while graphically intense games like cyberpunk get lost in the dust (its fixed now)

c# is the best language ever existed. Harry try c# version 11 or 12 features. Better than JS, Python, Go etc.

I am a game developer and I will recommend new ones to start with C++ and DSA if they want to create AAA level game with unreal. Or if hypercasual then they can start with C# and unity.
Keep in mind that in India unreal roles are less than unity.
And also in current situation you can not make much money from game dev jobs in India. Freelance is most people prefer to do in this field.
But let see what market does in upcoming years.

this is a really really really broad view, in actuality. most developers specialize in 2d or 3d games or basic or advance multiplier. just a simple game like mario or contra can sell millions while graphically intense games like cyberpunk get lost in the dust (its fixed now)
