    Such a shame they didn't set this up so the advertisements come BETWEEN the movements, not at random points during . . . .

    Why did the audience clap after each movements? It's annoying

      @@maestroclassico5801 My favourites are still the wonderful Beecham recordings - They are full of joy and just sing to me .. .. ..

      @@brianbrotherston5940 I think Naxos....at present has like 8 orchestras/conductors in their catalog doing Haydn. I think there is much there to both enjoy, and then dismiss. I will seek out Beecham's.

      @@rutgervangestel I know in Fischer's case it's because he's already done a MASSIVE Haydn cycle already for another label (Brilliant? Not sure). But honestly....did any of them do ALL the symphonies? Because it's darn confusing as some groups duplicated and some didn't.
