Interesting process... I like seeing the final product evolve. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Bill, I tried and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks, Gavin great job on weathering. Lots of great tips.
I'm glad, you enjoyed it Gary!
Great how to video
Great job. I learned alot. Thanks for sharing your techniques.
California central valley we have lots of silos and every Tuesday there are 1000s of covered hoppers waiting to be filled on both santa fe and up lines. All have been tagged.
Glad it was helpful David, Thanks for watching!
Yeah we see tons of grain hoppers down here too it's cool to see all of the graffiti tags!
Thank you so much!
Great job on that car, Gavin.
Great video Gavin and great techniques, you use. No wonder your Grandfather spoke so highly of those Locos you did on his layout. You have a great gift and talent. Well done Gavin keep it up. Thankyou. Kevin
Thanks, Kevin I've been weathering cars for as long as I can remember, and I'm glad I'm finally able to share it with everyone!
Very nicely done great job Gavin. I’m thinking of weathering a locomotive great share some great tips. Thanks for the video 👍🏻🚂🔔
Glad it was helpful Mike!
Just found your channel, and no doubt your weathering job is second to none, truly amazing work. That said, and I'm sure you will agree, the video tutorial itself could be better, not sure if the camera could be set up on the left so to have a better view of your workings, as well as perhaps better showing of what you are using. For instance you watered down a pan pastel, what's a pan pastel? How much water/how thin did you make it? Can easily be demonstrated by drawing a line on a white piece of printer paper to show how thin the mixture is. I subscribe because you're talent is amazing, and believe over time your filming will improve!
It looks great G.....Nice job. Bob
Thanks Bob, I'm happy you enjoyed it!
great work Gavin thx for the video.😊😊👍👍
My pleasure!
Awesome job it looks great… thanks for sharing and great talent !!
Thank you very much!
Excellent demo video Gavin. Lots of useful tips for modelers in any scale who want to do some weathering.
Glad you enjoyed it, I tried my best to explain my philosophy and I'm glad it was helpful!
Great job Gavin!
Thanks Manny!
Excellent tutorial and you made it look easy enough that anyone would want to make the attempt at weathering A very Professional result 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Very useful tips Gavin, especially for someone like me who is very inexperienced at weathering!
Thanks Terrance, I'm glad it was helpful!
And congratulations on your recent (as of 2023-11-16) awards!
Excellent results, but I have to agree with those who state the camera is poorly located. You hands are in the way the vast majority of your working time, and sometimes, the car is out of the frame while you’re working on it.
Great video, love to see your very effective technique.
Amazing job Gavin thanks for sharing 😃
I like it, great technigue you have you have, Hears a tip I may offer, I used it for years when I was in HO, We only see one side of a car when we run trains. Before weathering change the car number in one side of the some car, then when you can have two tips of weathering
Great tip!
☝️top☝️. Sehr sehr gute Arbeit
I love it G !!!!!
Thanks!!!
Enjoyed your instruction
Thanks Ken!
Great job Gavin . You are very talented. My opinion... set camera so it looks down and above you a bit so people can actually see you do what your doing. Keep up with the videos.
Thank you so much Shawn I will try doing that, thanks for the tip!
Nice video, If I could see what your doing
How to tell you didn't see much of anything your hand was that a piss-poor angle and of course your camera.... Looks like a decent thumbnail
Not anatomy acrylics, but it is academy acrylics
Good effects Gavin. Keep up the good work. How is the layout progressing?
Thanks John! I'm currently editing the Layout Update as we speak so be on the lookout!
I like the result, but like what others have said, the purpose of a tutorial is to show what you’re doing. And here you mostly show your fingers. It does not help much. Sure you’ll improve on your next vids. Keep it up!
Nice work. ,👍 Your spoken instructions are too wordy, and confusing.
Nice video of your hands can't even see what you're actually doing
cant see anything but your hand.
