RANKED SPLATOON 2 (Nuzlocke): Failing a Friend

- With all of my ranked modes either in the A ranks or close behind in the B ranks, we are quickly advancing in this splatoon 2 nuzlocke. We’re back to splatoon 2 splat zones and while things were seemingly going smoothly, I had lost a weapon that I had bought to represent a friend of mine. With all of the pokemon nuzlockes around the internet as well as Alpharad’s World of Light nuzlocke, I thought I’d do a similar thing but instead but for splatoon 2. In splatoon 2’s ranked mode, which you unlock from level 10, you go from rank C- to X rank while losing and winning many of ranked battles in the process. However, with my ranked splatoon 2 nuzlocke, I am creating much higher stakes. Whenever you lose (except for 3 vs 4 matches) you will lose the weapon that you were using that match for the rest of the nuzlocke. To beat the nuzlocke, you must obtain X rank in all 4 ranked modes: rainmaker, splat zones (which we did this rotation), tower control, and clam blitz. What do you think of this splatoon 2 challenge? I have. I’ve gotten to S rank in Clam Blitz and Rainmaker but have lost about 10-15 weapons. 7 in a row in Clam Blitz

@@ultronBS yeah I think that’s where the worst part of the fight is. Her aim is still really good and she does a FRICK TON of damage, but most if not almost all of my deaths have been from me being BARELY in the range of the blast, like, literally the edge of the explosion.

Yeah, alpha has probably been playing Splatoon so long that C rank - A rank is a breeze.
Indeed, while I'm gonna be stuck at A rank for a long time because I'm scared of going ranked online now. Alpha's really good at the game though, even when he says he isn't. 😹

11:44 That has happened to me and if I lost one more match I would have to re gain my rank... I was grinding for 1 and a half hours before that. On that final match... I lost my rank. *REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-*
I was so close to advancing from S+4... then a defensive lapse in Rainmaker meant that my team went from 6 points from victory to getting knocked out. It stunk. And my ranked bar got reset hard :-/
It makes me sad that so many people don't know of great stages like saltspray rig mahi mahi resort hammerhead bridge and many more. I hope that they return for splatoon 3
Splat Zones is the mode I'm best at. I always use Weapons like the Aerospray, sploosh or splash o-matic, and dapple dualies. Basically any good turfing weapon!

In sploon 1 walleye warehouse was definitely one of my favourite maps, especially since I was a dynamo main. You could turn an entire game around by just getting ink strike and targeting it at the enemies side of the zone, then just do what a dynamo does best on your side.
I still main the dynamo in sploon 2 but it doesn’t hold a candle to itself in the first game. Idk how I got to X in. RIP the dynamo
The dynamo is still a monster in zones as it can make the other team lose control in like 2 swings.
I don’t like the slow swings-
That’s why I stick with the aerospray :P

I’ve played 250 something hours of the game and I’m still only in A rank. And I played at least 100 of those hours in ranked
With those 4 beautiful dodge rolls of the dark tetras, I find 2-3 rolls when landing a super jump get you out of most things, and with one to spare. Unless there's a dynamo or something jump camping oof (then just hope your splashdown's charged lol)
Also the sonic noise when you bounced off the baller - 10/10

If someone else does this, an additional Nuzlocke part: every level you can buy one gear piece, the first one in the list in one of the shops. If you lose, scrub everything you're wearing.

Kelp dome. Splatoon 1 had an inkstrike, and this stage was one of the easiest ways to avoid it

Kelp Dome is my favorite map when I've got the Clear Dapples; in the sheer number of close range encounters you're likely to end up in, the Clear Dapples excel.
ALSO I DIDN'T EVEN HEAR THE GUARDIAN MUSIC for when level 120 Spirit joined your lobby, but it was a very nice fit~

I do it but you slow down with it so I use the krak-on splat roller

My favorite splat 1 map was always mahi-mahi resort. I'm not sure why but I always loved it.

Funny thing, my first Splatoon match was on Kelp Dome, so it’s definitely one of my favorite and best maps.

Having finally beaten Inner Agent 3, I was genuinely shocked that the autobomb didn’t hit is not kill this dude at 6:19. Either I really think the range and power is broken in the fight, or Agent 3’s autobombs are buffed to the point where it’s impossible to get away even though you’re clearly out of the blast radius.
