RANKED SPLATOON 2 (Nuzlocke): Bloblobber Banishment

- Normally when we lose weapons during this splatoon 2 splatlocke, it hurts a lot as we can’t use them again for the rest of the challenge. The weapon(s) your going to see go in this nuzlocke episode will probably be the most heartbreaking out of all of them and of all modes, it was on rainmaker. With all of the pokemon nuzlockes around the internet as well as Alpharad’s World of Light nuzlocke, I thought I’d do a similar thing but instead but for splatoon 2. In splatoon 2’s ranked mode, which you unlock from level 10, you go from rank C- to X rank while losing and winning many of ranked battles in the process. However, with my ranked splatoon 2 nuzlocke, I am creating much higher stakes. Whenever you lose (except for 3 vs 4 matches) you will lose the weapon that you were using that match for the rest of the nuzlocke. To beat the nuzlocke, you must obtain X rank in all 4 ranked modes: rainmaker (which we did in this rotation), splat zones, tower control, and clam blitz. oh yeah I had really severe joy-con drift and my freind fixed it for me by cleaning out my joy-cons and replacing the joy-sticks and stuff.

JOY CON DRIFT FIX: you can remove the joystick itself and soak in isopropyl alcohol or lift the rubber skirt around it and dab the alchohol with a Q tip. If it gets rlly bad I recommend buying a new part and replacing it. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS HARD, hear me out. Most replacement parts will come with the 2 screwdrivers u need and it really isnt hard.

To fix joycon drift just take some rubbing alcohol or any sensitive cleaning product and put it on a que tip. Scrub the sides of that half ball under the joystick and move it to the opposite side you are cleaning to get the whole thing, this cleans away the dirt that is causing the drift
In the last nuzlocke vid alpha said in the comments “friendship with bloblobber ended jet squelcher is new best friend” karma’s work y’all
I cleared my pro controller drift by taking it apart and using an air compressor to blow out all the hair and dust in it. Try watching a video on taking it apart.
To clear drift, you can get a q-tip/Cotton bud, dip it slightly in alcohol, and I don’t really know how to explain where to apply it, maybe watch a video. It worked for me!

Lol sorry this is late. But for your joycon drift problem u need to clean the dust uderneath the stick (nintendo made the plactic sticks cheap on purpose so u can keep buying it even tho u can clean it lol) so u can either take the controller apart and take a cotton swab and clean it out like that. Or u can get a can of compressed air and shoot it in the joycon stick and you'll be good to go. This works with joycons and pro contollers.

What I do to rid myself of Joycon drift is putting a Q-TIP with alcohol on it under the little covers of the analog sticks and circling around, if that makes any sense. I learned that from another RUclipsr.

Idk if you’ll ever see this alpha, but thatsrb2dude has a good video on how to fix stickdrift
Get some nail polish remover and try and scrub in between the joy cons with the cotton swab. That will remove drift for a decent amount of time before you have to scrub it down again.

i mean my switch got stolen over roughly a year ago while i was abroad (this was 2019) and it had all my progress, prestige 87, X rank in all modes and i had it since launch but suprisingly my joy cons never drifted (i had enough money saved up to get a new switch with the joy cons that supposedly cant drift and i think its true, i dont think they can drift!) sadly i had to restart my splatoon from the beginning (i had splatoon and smash digitally so i just logged back into my account and redownloaded them) but i lost a lot of motivation to lay splatoon and regrind for like a month, now im back in the A+ to S ranks and now i remember why it was so hard, A ranks dont play around!

So for what you’re complaining about, I believe Srb2DUDE used metal joysticks to solve the problem. The problem is from the dust the joycons can make when it rubs against the controller case or something.
Oh really? I've heard about the dust messing up the control sticks but never trusted myself or anyone besides Nintendo with completely replacing them.
Alphastar716, I believe the Procontroller is quite easy to actually adjust, there’s very little you actually need to take off (when compared to the joycons for example) which means that it’s less of a hassle. From what I’ve heard, all you need to do it take off the case. Though, I would do more research into it
