Thank you, there are plenty of hammock companies available. Although i give an honest review of the gear i use. Check out others too. Snugpak, NapSack, Onetigris, DD To name a few
Really good review man.👍 I just got the hide out underquilt, amazing camouflage on it. Not used it yet, but guess it's better than nothing. Take it easy. 🏴
Thanks for the review, i was gifted one for christmas cant wait to get out and try it, toying with the idea of buying one of the Kompound hammocks to replace my DD. Thanks again.
I have one of these also and find it makes a big difference, I haven’t used it sub zero conditions but if I did I would be using a decent sleeping bag also. Piece of cake to set up 😀
Cheers for posting mate - can't lie, tried my best with hammocks and underquilts and just not for me; shame really as it appeals, I just feel proper squashed in and can't roll over, get cold spots and a rubbish nights kip. Thanks for posting mate, good review but I am destined to be a ground dweller, or a hammock sitter lol :) All the best pal, keep posting, as I say to everyone who posts, you are all keeping me sane during this lockdown. Nick
Thanks Nick, glad to be part of your therapy. There are lots of different factors when hammock.camping, its notbas simple as find a spot and lie down. There's height difference between head and foot end, diagonal lay, sleep pad or not. Srructural ridge line so many different factors. Id be happy to go through some tips face to face if we ever get out of this lockdown
@@OscarOutdoors22 I'd appreciate that mate, got the gear but no idea lol Fingers crossed we can all meetup and have a camp once all this nonsense is over...
@@OscarOutdoors22 I know mate, one thing this has taught me is that I would be s**t at doing time inside! Still, it's got to come to an end soon, so looking forward to getting out and about. I live in Scotland now, and am 20 min drive from the Cairngorms, 30 min drive from Loch Lomond and a 15 min walk from the beach and can't get out (live near a Naval base and there's police everywhere so can't even risk an overnighter, spoke to some MOD and normal coppers and they've told me I can get a fine for it - not worth the risk). Am low down on the jab list as well, so sitting in my shed watching RUclips videos lol
Hi Scott, got the trekker winter UQ yesterday so went out to set up the kompound and UQ, must say very easy set up and very warm, fell asleep and woke up to heavy rain. Next time I am taking my tarp for cover, but very well made and very warm. Take care, Paul B
All that beautiful snow. Down south in london we never see snow like that 😭😭😭😭😭 great vid dude, i got the camo version of this have notbused it yet but i bought it for bargain at the time😬

You picked a good day for your demos
The snow gives it a great background for a winter camping atmosphere
Another great demo and take care 🇨🇦 ☃️
Thank you Sue, yeah fell really lucky as this was my only day off that week too. So really worked out well for me.
