I think you got your canon mixed up. Sonic x and the Sonic movies aren’t canon in the same universes. Sure everything is canon but not all events happen in the same timeline. For instance in the games Sonic lives on earth but everywhere else it’s mobius. As of Sonic generations Sonic is 16 but after that we aren’t sure. The best guess is there there is about a year of time between generations and frontiers. For any wondering that means the only events in between those two is forces and the idw comics. So with that info we can assume he is 17.

Wait but if we take the logic of "1 month on mobius is 1 year on earth" wouldn't that mean that sonic is way older than eggman in earth years and also if there birthday is possibly every month sonic is more than 100 years old either way he's really old so it doesn't make sense💀💀💀

Sonic does age, in the classic games he’s 10 or 12. In sonic adventure he’s 14 in the 2010 era he’s 15 and it’s his birthday during sonic generations meaning he is now 16. I know this because All the classic sonic games take place days after each other, the adventure games and Sonic heroes happen not to far from each other and sonic 06, unleashed and black night are connected by their end credits showing eggmans ship from unleashed at the end of 06. Sonic colors connects to generations. Since SA1 only 3 years have passed for Sonics world

The movies aren’t canon. Mobius and Earth are the same planet in the game universe. So Sonic’s “Longclaw” backstory isn’t set in the game canon. Plus, if the movies were canon to the games, that would have so many recons like the origins of the chaos emeralds. Or even Eggman’s origin story. He started out wanting world domination in the games while in the movies he started out as a government agent. Also, Sonic X isn’t canon since it retcons Adventure 1 and 2.
