That guy behind him seemed so happy listening to him, and then I noticed he kept on smiling and standing and it was getting creepier, and then I noticed it was just a poster. Lols, nice demonstration Sir! Planning to buy one!
OMG I know you. You played La Bamba on Britain's Got Talent in 2012. You were brilliant, I not only recognised a great pianist but laughed like a drain at your humour and have played that video many times since. Now I'm watching you again presenting a digital piano which I have serious interest in and hoping you will burst into playing La Bamba again. An inspiring video on this amazing piano. Thank you so much.
I'm in grad school and trying to pick up a hobby besides working out for my sanity.. I know if I buy this I will be on the piano 24/7 and not study anymore. As soon as I'm done i'm switching my focus to learning music
I'm in the same situation except work instead of grad school. I ended up getting a different piano than this one but I'm excited to begin. What are the first songs you want to learn how to play?
Perfect, inspiring review! It makes me wanna buy it. Actually I was looking for a piano for my wife and this video made my mind to go with this model. It sounds great! Thank you for the good mood you bring! 😊
I just purchased one yesterday and waiting for them to deliver it. I have a keyboard since I moved. I learned to play at a child on an upright and missing the piano. Thanks for the demo. I am so excited. Awesome! My favorite pastime when I am not interest in the boob tube! I can play for hours and have all my John Thompson music books. I need some information as to where I can purchase more piano music. Nothing sounds like a real keyboard. Yes!!!
Hi ya, thinking of this digital piano how is it after it’s settled in. As a previous acoustic piano player how do you find it performs against it? Is it worth it? Or is acoustic better? My child is learning. I used to play. But my piano was given away years and years ago…
I'm crying now😭 Amazing performance and great Yamaha, sounds so beautiful🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I moved from Ukraine to Denmark and I couldn't take my real piano with me, that's just impossible.....I loved this digital piano! Thanks for this great video and your beautiful performance my friend🇺🇦❤🇩🇰
Thank you for the wonderful demonstration. Do you know if the beige colored version has a matching colored stool because online the seat and piano seem to be different shades.
How heavy is it? Could I easily move it between rooms? Also does it connect to the Yamaha app? I have a gorgeous 1997 Kemble acoustic piano that I love dearly, which has the most fabulous mellow tone. However it’s their space saver version, so doesn’t have a full, 88 key keyboard. This hasn’t been a problem at all until now, everything has worked out fine for previous piano grade lessons. However to play a piece I want to play for a music exam now needs the full keyboard. Space is limited, so would need to move it between rooms at various times. Would this work out, or should I just go for a keyboard? Is there an equivalent keyboard? I wish I had one of your stores near me, but am in the south west, so not an option. Thank you though for posting this great review, which is much appreciated.
I am between the Yamaha YDP-145 and the Kawai KDP-120. In terms of sound and keys, which one is better, as closer to a real piano experience?? I would be grateful for any feedback on this.
They are both good for the price as entry level digital pianos. You need to spend £2000 + really to see big differences in tone and key action. Kindest regards Graham
It cannot. A Yamaha CFX in a normal home would be extremely loud when played hard. The Yamaha CFX Concert Grand piano is designed to be heard over the sound of an entire orchestra at the back of the room. Kindest regards Graham
That's awesome! I will buy this one for sure. So if i understood correctly you can use headphones as well? I want to practice without having to wait until my neighbors leave the house😅
Yes you can use headphones. All digital pianos allow headphones. Here is a link to the YDP145 for you...www.rimmersmusic.co.uk/search/ydp145 Kindest regards Graham
From my understanding, it just has better sound sampling. Honestly if you have the 144, I see absolutely no reason to upgrade. If you’re looking between the 144 and 145 and don’t mind pay an extra $100, the 145 isn’t a bad deal
@@killthefacade180 after I asked the question I found that 145 has Virtual Resonance Modeling Lite (VRM Lite) to simulate the complex sympathetic tones created when the vibrations of the strings are propagated to the soundboard and other strings. I think it's worth it, isn't it?
@@Xipoctli Yes, I believe the YDP 145 is a great upgrade. And it doe not cost much more. I just bought one yesterday after watching this video! It will arrive next week
Hi, The YDP uses the CFX piano sample, while the P125 is the older CF sound engine. The action is much the same, but improved component parts on the 145.. The 145 has Key-Off Sampling as well as Virtual Resonance Modelling so it's a more realistic sound as well. The Amplification system on the 145 is also 8w x2 as opposed to 7w x2 on the 125. Then there are the obvious stylistic differences; the P125 is designed to be portable/used on stage, whereas the 145 is a home piano. Hope this helps!! Pete, Edinburgh
@@burrezito Hi, 165 has improved action with 3-sensor system allowing for faster repetition of notes, more like a grand.. The keytops are also more realistic, along with much cleaner & more powerful amplification system meaning a greater detail of the sound... hugely improved piano, for not a huge jump in the price tag... Bonjour, c’est magnifique! Comment s’appelle la première musique qu’il joue, svp?

It is "Winter Games" written by David Foster.

Right Here Waiting - Richard Marx

Can it hook up to a Audio Interface and DAW?

The 145 has a USB To Host so can be used as a controller to send MIDI to DAW or via an Interface.
