Thanks alot. Good to hear it helped. I was really surprised it wasn't that hard to make my own uke. Banjo could have higher string tension but it shouldn't be a problem with the proper tailpiece so - just do it:)
Looks and sounds great, and appears to be quite solid. Very nice work. Amazing considering you have no woodworking background and no shop. In time I will make a banjolele too.
You did a great job with this instrument, but I'm especially impressed with how well you explained the process! I'm going to make a fret jig like yours, as it seems to be a fine design, and should same me a lot of work. I rather liked the way you improvised a tailpiece, as well. Bravo!
Thanks. Well you have pretty cool stuff on your channel. You're really inventive fan of cardboard I can tell.

Thank you for your comment. Well I can imagine processing the wood could be much easier with proper knowledge and tools, but I managed to do it somehow - youtube is full of helpful stuff. It has its flaws of course, but it plays and I still have all fingers so I consider it a great success:).

Tray Morlock Hi and sorry for the late reply. Some local music shop (e-shop actually). it shouldn't be a problem to find suitable drum in some music store.
I seriously appreciate your do it yourself attitude.
i really like the neck thru design for simplicity. looks like it holds the tension better than a rod being one piece

This is awesome. I really like the sound of banjo ukuleles. I feel like one you make yourself has an even more authentic "rag time" sound.
Great looking banjo uke and sounds good as well. I have been thinking about building a banjo for some time, this video is inspiring. Thanks.
Very good build. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the explanation and the other links, very helpful.
Brilliant and very clever!
Thanks for sharing your experience. You are creative. Go on..
this is wonderful. You are very skilled and take a very common-sense approach. Sounds as good as the 200$ firefly banjo uke!
Big Work. Good sound. Clear sound

Nice video. You explained your building process very well. Good english, too. Now I want to build my own.
Thanks for a nice comment. Especially for that 'good english' part:). Good luck with building your own uke - it's not a rocket science, just do it.
Nice job on the ukulele banjo and video.
Thanks for a nice comment.
Amazing job. I love the way you play
Hey that is a nice professional job Jakub! Great work and it sounds just like a Banjo.
Thanks for comment. I think it's still far from professional, but good enough.. it plays:)
Very well explained...
great video, and great looking instrument.

Ahoj, kupoval jsem tady www.shop4djs.com/stagg-5/stagg-had-008w.html ale jinak asi kdekoli v hudebninách, něco z druhé ruky nebo z půdy stačí :)

nice video but just one question
is this saprano or tenor?
Thanks for a comment. I wanted a tenor so the scale length is 17''.
Please tell me what the body is made of
It is a small drum, it's made of some kind of plastic, not wood :/
Ahoj
Are you Slovak or Czech ? :)
Nice video by the way !
+Tapping Strings Ahoj, díky :), Czech.
where did you get your drum?
