Should be a maximum of $5 regardless of who they got to design it. An in game cosmetic item doesn’t change the game enough to warrant $16.

@HighNoonTex This is indeed a lie. There is no lawsuit, nor does Gun Media and Savini hate each other. Savini even worked with Gun’s partner in the Evil Dead game. They are as far as I know in 2023 in good speaking terms. Who knows, we may get a Savini skin in the future.

The way how gaming is nowadays, you’re lucky they didn’t charge $30 for the skin. If I’m not mistaken, I believe this is a limited edition skin. Much like the Savini skins, it will go away after a certain amount of time permanently. This is due to 3rd party affiliation with the skin as Gun Media doesn’t own the rights to these skins.

In the leaked photos I thought it was just the Leatherface from part 3 which Nicotero worked on. The saw even has a similar guard to the “saw is family” golden chainsaw from that film. Glad to see it’s a more fully thought out skin of it’s own, very cool!

This game doing this now is giving a bad look to it compared to a DBD chapter which at most costs you 10 dollars, and you usually get a brand new killer and a survivor; much better value than this.
I thought the $16 dollars was a little much, then I heard its $10 per character. Y’all better have a cheaper bundle to get both characters. I like this game, definitely not enough to get this leatherface bundle. $10 would’ve been perfect. After just playing the $10 Resident Evil 4 Separate ways dlc, I would’ve spent $10 for this bundle, $16 dollars is just too much for so little. That chainsaw does sound intimidating though, good job to whoever did the audio there.

I’m very torn. While I’m happy there is new content coming out, I’m not super thrilled for this. Perhaps if I was a Leatherface main. But even then, at that price point….thats a hard pill to swallow. I don’t think the skin looks that great tbh. I just hope the other skins/characters that are coming out are either going to be free or not be as much as this. I love this game, it’s just really lacking in content. I want maps more than anything.

People are going to quit the game. It shouldn't be $20 to buy characters that may be essential to staying competitive. The cosmetics and executions are fairly priced. Hell, even the Nicotero skin is fine, but I dont understand how people can justify the $10 per character price tag. It will cause lobby dodging causing queue times to extend and then you have to ask the question; Is this P2W? There are so many bugs in game, still no crossplay, long queue times, and now this. I love the game and know they need to make money, but its just tough to understand where they're coming from.

Fix these issues below:
1. Let us play without Leather Face in the game. Stupid to force people to play a certain killer.
2. Too many ways for victim to escape. The valve and fuse are overpowered. It should be a one-time deal.
3. The skill tree sucks; let all abilities and perks be available once you max out.
4. Stun by victim lasts way too long on all killers.
5. The cool down on on fuse, valve, battery, and generator are too long.
6. Leather face should be able to cut down stuff faster, providing more chase.

I play against 3 hackers everyday and i have to wait in the lobby for over 60% of my game section because nobody want to play LF or press ready. And then you charge 16dollars for that!XD
I'm not sure where I should write this, so I'll just do it here. I have a big issue/question, that has been annoying since launch. Or rather, something I think is dumb, and should be changed:
What is the point of the 'Loadout system'? Don't take me wrong, having the option to change to different loadouts, without having to manually equipe each perk is good, but it doesn't make any sense combined with the skill tree. What is the point of having 5 different Loadout slots, when you can't even fill each slot with unique perks, because you can only get between 10 and 13 perks throughout the skill tree? I'm currently using a lot of movement speed builds on family, mainly on hitch and Bubba. But at the same time, I'd love to have a damage or blood focused build in the back, in case I want to quickly switch things up for a change. But currently, not only would I have to delete my current skill tree, basically wasting the literal hours I spent getting the right random perks (which is also a questionable mechanic in of itself), and collect all the new perks and skill point, which can take God knows how long, depending on what perks I want. The Loadout system should allow me to switch my build within seconds, but right now, it's basically useless. There should either be individual skill trees for each Loadout, or some other change to make this system actually useful.
This is just goes to show this skin being 16 dollars is expensive yes. But that’s how every other game operates they use currency like v-bucks, atoms or x points to make you feel less guilty for buying it 20 dollars is the standard for Fortnite skins company’s just decive you with psychological manipulation using currency’s.
