      Many thanks for your kind comment, a lot of videos are coming soon! By the way, what is the number one thing you would like to learn on photography and retouching? I will make a video about it :)

      @@SergeRamelliPhotography You're very welcome! It sounds amazing! Thank you for your kind question, on photography I'm interested in controlling light outside using butterflies and reflectors especially swimsuit shootings on the beaches and on retouching color grading, especially related to fashion magazines falls in the field of my interest! Thank you so much again, God bless and good luck!

    This is great Serge! Jimmy McIntyre has a freebie plug like this, but this one is much more simplified and fast! PLUS, you don't need to blend two exposures with it to use it. Another thing I see is if you over-do an area, instead of re-doing the whole thing, just change the brush to the opposite color between black and white, and you can "un-paint" over your previous work. Definitely will be using this! Thanks!!

    You can achieve this with Photoshop's Calculations and Colour Range. It's a simpified Calculations interface. Calculation under Mode does all this for complex/subtle selections.

    Thank You for showing us this, I have been using Photoshop since 6 came out around 2000, there are so many new things that come out that a person cannot keep up with all of that is out there. I like what you have shown in your tutorials; your presets and tools for Lightroom. I use it in 3d render art it really make a difference in production.

    Very good explanation, I am surprised that there are no natural offers for luminosity masks directly from photoshop. I will try this feature! Thanks 🙂

    If you want to really use the power of luminosity masks spend the $29. It's a steal. There is a learning curve but the power and control we get to dodge and burn, modify colors locally is amazing

    You should reduce the flow of your brush when painting. Only slowly building the effect. It’s not necessarily that you’re using the wrong mask but just that your brush strokes are too strong.

    Bonsoir Serge,
    Dommage que tes superbes tutos ne soient plus qu'en anglais.
    Pourquoi ne pas faire une chaîne en français et une en anglais ?
    Bonnes fêtes de fin d'année à toi et tes proches.

    I do not say this to correct you or anything like that. But if You really want to take luminosity masking to the next level, You should take a look at Lumenzia by Greg Benz - you can find about him here on YT. I really think Lumenzia could ad dimensions to Your allready amazing photos - just saying.

    Can somebody please tell me how I can get the layer white?I'm stuck already!!!!!!!

    • @belewis
      @belewis Год назад

      It's just a new layer which is transparent by default. He must have transparency settings to show white instead of grid, but the layer isn't white. You change the layer's mode to, say soft light, then paint on it with a white brush.
