They have been notorious for having car models only being the general shape of the car they are supposed to be. The problem is, they keep recycling those models instead of building new ones. Nothing in GT7 is pulled from GT6. All the models are new. Also T10 continually claimed that FM23 was built from the ground up which is an outright lie.
@@aaronsmith7143 oh I can vouch for that last sentence. The game is ass right now. The ai literally go out of their way to take you off the track. Cant play online without it dc my controller then freezing. Terrible experience
GT& still has that same nostalgic neat and tidy look it has always had, looks like they have kept the game almost the same since GT3-4 lol I love the way it looks nothing is overdone or exaugurated.

At some points Forza looks better and at others it’s GT7. I think both are great games with their own faults that can be easily fixed by their respective developers. With Motorsport back on the table might we see PD upping their game with GT7?

From personal experience the graphics on GT7 have been scaled down a tad bit. On my PS4 Pro, the graphics are nearly the same, if not better than Forza. Just my personal opinion. No hate or anything.

In the first GT7 clip everything looks so colorful and clean... visually some people would prefer that but I'm personally more into some low exposured scenes and "not that clean" tracks. Both are great in their own way tho

I like how FM is as smooth as Gt7 and being aggressive in camera movement than you shift gears. It gives more sense of speed and reminds you that you are not in a ev that sounds like a regular car

@@user-lq6vm8yt4hlol nah, forza is the closest thing I've played to AC on a console. Considering I didn't even have to buy it, its an amazing deal. Forza isn't a pure sim and never has been. I'm sorry if you listen to guys who are trying to sell you a product but you really shouldn't buy 'snake oil'. If you've ever played a forza game, you should've already known what the game was gonna be. Interestingly enough, they blew my expectations out of the park with this one.

The new Forza is too twitchy, even cars that are notorious for understeering and being planted feel nervous.

@@MrShadowofthewind gt7 had that aswell in the beginning if im honest took them a couple of months to work out those physics in the beginning a lot of cars were way harder to drive but honestly they figured it out now tho we did need to start tuning in different ways yo get the same speed out of cars and some cars got hit hard and will never drive like before
While i am not a Fan of this new FM nor GT7 (no PS5 also), i feel like FM is more raw in general. Something i kind of like. It is a bit more emotional. Soundscape wise for example. But i will stay on AC and Beam i guess. But i think for a lot of people, both games offer a lot of driving fun. Each in its way.

Fm looks more real to me. The tracks look like cars have benn driving on them, GT looks to clean. But no doubt they are both good games

Not really LOD, Vegetation and Advanced Lighting effects are really bad and have nothing to do with a current gen game.

Love the handling in forza vs gt but can't beat gt graphics yet
The sounds of FM are amazing! From the outside, sounds like someone is actually working the gears and clutch plus the suspension acts like it should, GT7 looks amazing tho I like both but FM does it for me
Sequential Transmission on GT feels and sounds quick compare to FM that feels like you're still using a clutch to shift tho.

Forza looks more lively or has more realistic motion. GT7 has more realistic cars, paint, and baked in reflections.
Combine both and you have a masterpiece.

@@kevincastelonia2251 I have FM for the pc and when a damn unoptimized game comes worse than previous titles in that regard.... for perspective FH5 looks better and maxed out i can diss out 2k@140fps in ultra, an open world that has to load and save more objects and assets in memory, FM does 60fps in 1080P in high, didn´t find a way to get 120fps even if i put everything on low.... a closed circuit game with way less assets. We are the beta testers.

The way the tracks feel in fm feel weirdly wide and the way the cars turns compare to gt7 is completely different.
Only thing that bugs me is how the camera is completely locked onto the car in GT. I grew up playing 2,3 so it just bugs me.
I've been a fanboy of GT since day one. But this time around FM is whiping the floor with GT (at least in the graphics department)
if you squint, yeah. pause FM and take a look at the sides of tracks for instance and the cracks start showing. Not to mention at least with these generations of games, GT7's car models are all re-done from scratch to the best of my knowledge, loads of FMs cars are dated as far back as FM4 or just straight up drop-ins from the Horizon games. Hardly "built from the ground up" like Microsoft touted.

Forza in the rain can look photo realistic sometimes. Both games look good, though. Forza looks more realistic, Gran Turismo looks more colorful and saturated.

@@RCMax100GT7 actually is way more accurate in so many things, car models, brand colours, tracks and enviroment colouring and atmosphere, it's not that GT7 is overly colourfull like Forza Horizon, Forza Motorsport looks overly dull, they put a filter over everything wich does not help it, car paints pop in the sun in real life, shocking i know.

The camera in Gt7 is so stiff it feels like I'm conned to concrete
The camera can be adjusted on GT 7 to work like the camera view from forza.
this is a plus for me as I can tell exactly where my car is pointing when aiming for the apex. too much camera sway and I get it a little off line. to each their own tho, 100%
GT7 didn't look bad at all. But Forza looks amazing and much real than GT7.

GT7 does things for real. FM needs to hide everything in dark shadows and with a camera that moves more than the car itself.

Imo I think FM really only has sound design and graphics going for it but I've never played gt7 so I can't say which is better would love to try it tho

Played both and there is fun to be had in both, however I was more niche based and take it more serious so ACC keeps on being my main game with Iracing as 2nd game.

@@joaquingonzalez834GT7 had launch issues too....FM just launched a couple weeks ago, and it's already been updated twice, so they're working on it...Besides, this one is planned to be a long running racing platform with consistent long term updates, that's why they dropped the number 8 and just called it Forza Motorsport. So expect so much to be added and changed in the near future. Including graphics, tweaks, features, VR. Not to mention the planned cars and tracks and competitions and so on...etc. Give it time to bloom into its prime, just like you gave GT7......FM is for the long haul!

Gran Turismo never changed. Looks, feels, sounds and sucks the same as it did after 4
GT7 is the winner. It has everything, especially controller haptic vibrations which xbox lacks.

Neither are sims. Not even close. Doesn’t mean they are bad games, far from it. But take GT or Forza player and put them something like ACC with all aids off and most would be all over the place.
GT lighting model still looks great after all these years.
Forza M i have only played a little if but using pad as my wheel is packed away. It’s actually a lot of fun in the few career races I’ve done but it’s not a sim. I’ll keep as my pad circuit racer until I can get my wheel set up and get back on ACC.

In my opinion, the graphics of the track and surrounding area looks better in Forza Motorsport while the car models and sounds are better in GT7.

as somebody who spent thousands of hours in FH3-FH5, couple hundred hours in FM7 and recently FM 2023, i just wish they can create better AI, that is smart but doesnt cheat. and also progression system that makes sense. they always F it up everytime.

What? They can't even model most of the cars correctly and the colors are awful and not accurate to the real world counterparts in FM. Not to mention the broad lack of detail in the car models overall. The only thing FM edges out on is environmental details which still took a major downgrade. Not to mention GT7 is still a PS4 game at its base which is embarrassing for FM.

Forza does look great it just has better environmental elements to enhance the image. The sunsets and fog are amazing.

Been a fan of both as a child I will say the car models that goes to gt by a long shot but everything else forza takes it they have finally made good physics however their is still room for improvement tho

A good example of this is that FWD cars in Forza do not have as much understeer as it should be, based on what I've seen, and what many others also see, but gran turismo 7 gets the behaviour of FWD better. Even 6 gets it better lol

Ah yes, a sim racer whose launcher is so bad that the community made their OWN launcher. A sim racer that requires hours spent modding to get the features that gt7 and fm7 have. I love assetto but damn this meat riding is getting annoying.

I've been playing GT since the og. Still love the game to this day. However, GT4 is still the best GT ever made. So I hope the next one goes back to that style. Bring back B spec and the long endurance races.
The only other racing game I'll play will be Iracing, but that will be once I decide to build a better racing rig. Until then, GT7 will suit my needs just fine.

Both look so good. GT7 has a more realistic look to it, I've only played Forza though.
FM8 seems to have been created using PC driving simulators as a benchmark, rather than GT7, which is intended to be comfortable for people who have never driven a car before, but FM8 does not shy away from the various mechanical shocks, noises, fluctuations, and instabilities that a car can have.
But GT7 still has far better physics, comparable to vanilla Assetto Corsa.

GT7 is far closer to the PC sims in physics. T10 need to fix a lot of issues with Forza's physics.
