Nice! I later converted my bike to KYB SSS forks to take hard hits better, and it does, but NOTHING soaks up the chop better than the zokes. I miss them!
You set it up for enduro? Manual states oil levle at 90mm. I just installed 0.50 springs with bushings, and 90mm oil height. Maxed out on compression, but still to soft. Any tips? I am using a 10w oil.
Hey man nice video! i have a problem with my fork, i have no idea what fork it is, i dont have any manuals and i have no clue of how much oil im supose to in it.... But it looks very similar to yours and disassembles just like yours. Is there any way I can calculate how much oil I need??
Zi9makin9 If you don't know what fork you have, I don't know of a formula to calculate how much oil you need...What bike are your forks on? If it's a Gasgas it could be a marzocchi 45 or 48 depending on the year, or even a Sachs. You can measure the lower fork tube diameter with a dial caliper to see whether it is a 45 or 48. I just searched online for my fork size for the manuals. What bike is it on?
I solved it! Searched around on different forums and they apear to be copies of fastace as-02 forks (used on pitbikes). My bike is just a cheap orion agb 29 (chinese pitbike) from 2006 so the whole thing is just a copy from a lot of bikes xD But thanks anyway!
Just did my first fluid change on my 45mm shivers today.
Felt much more comfortable to proceed, after watching this vid.
Cheers 🍺
