This Game and Shadow of the Colossus has broken me. Everytime, when i hear this Song or Played the Games, i must Cry. I do not want it, but i do it. Damn this is beautiful Music. Who ever written the Music of both Games, is a Magician with his Tools. Thanks for it.
I believe that Ueda stated both games take place in the same fictional universe, but did not disclose the chronological order. Instead he said which interpretation he preferred and left the rest up to the players to decide.
ICO and SOTC has a special spot in my heart. ICO was one of the first games that introduced me to the world of gaming in general and I remember being fascinated by it when I was a young'n.
The Last Guardian is very good game too. It's just that people can't understand that Trico is like a cat, he has his cravings and doesn't listen to the owner like a dog. TRICO HAS THE BEST AI PETS EVER MADE OF GAMING.
I envy you, I wish being introduced to gaming with ICO Or Shadow of The Colossus, i am not saying that the games i played back then were bad, just damn how different would have been my perception to games if i had started with those masterpieces.

Oh my goodness, right in the FEELS. It's definitely time for a SotC and ICO marathon again. My favorite game of all time, and such a lovely instrumental version of this piece.
unbelievable song and just a georgous remaster :) i have the ICO/SOTC HD versions for PS3 and when you choose which game to play, this song always plays. i have spent some time on that screen :DD
I have the PS3 remastered edition, (bundled with SOTC). I just platinumed this game yesterday.. Then I went and bought a custom wall scroll with this picture (made sure to get a very high res one, but I found it on google.)
When this came out I was 9 years old in EU I don't really remember if I saw the game in person but I never played it, that makes me so sad You guys that played it when it came out you're so lucky, I imagine the nostalgia that this have for you

I recently got the remastered version, and I love this game so much. One of my favorites! If OP hasn't played it already, he should, because it's a great game even without the nostalgia factor.
Perry McWiener I can vouch for that. Played it for the first time a few months ago and loved it. Challenging, great aesthetics, fun mechanics. Mostly challenging. :)

Hmm maybe no, video game is a special medium that has some advantages no other (such as anime) has, and Team Ico has successfully taken advantage of that to craft a piece of art. Making this an anime would take a lot away
@@latemporis5430 Honestly, the only closest anime that I could think of that comes close to Ico or Shadow of Colossus is Hayao Miyazaki's Laputa, Castle in the Sky. I mean, just by looking at the landscapes and the environment surrounding the film and listening to this music just fits so well and really wants to make me watch the whole film again.
