- Thanks to Lucas Estrada for requesting Nelvana (that sorta rhymed). Enjoy! Nelvana was founded in 1971 in Canada by Michael Hirsh (now in the directory of DHX Media), Patrick Loubert, and Clive A. Smith to produce and distribute children's animated shows and movies originally. The original specials the company produced (from 1977 until 1980) were distributed by Viacom Enterprises. Until 1985, the company did not have an animated logo separate from the credits at the end of their shows, instead using an in-credit version of its logo. Today, it's a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The company's name originally came from a female Canadian comic book superhero from the 1940s named Nelvana of the Northern Lights, but the three decided to use a polar bear instead for a logo in order to avoid confusion. Nelvana is known for making shows like Max & Ruby, Mysticons, Franklin, The Care Bears, Babar, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, and many more!

I remember seeing these logos watching My Friend Rabbit and Jacob Two-Two growing up! Oh, the nostalgia!
I'm not Canadian, by the way, these shows aired on the Qubo channel I grew up with from late 00's to early 10's. :)
Some shows produced by Nelvana (along with other companies) I remember watching include Mike the Knight, The Backyardigans, Handy Manny, Guess with Jess, The Adventures of Chuck and Friends, Scaredy Squirrel, The ZhuZhus, and Mysticons.

1:53 Actually, it's from the original theatrical release, which can be seen in 35mm prints of the film before the 1985 G Rated MPAA screen at the end. The blue end credits first appeared in the 1985 VHS and can be seen in TV airings. However, as of the 2000 MGM VHS release, the original end credits were restored back into the film.
As a Canadian, I can conform this video is a masterpiece.

I was a year old when the 2004 logo was first used
Same!!! I even saw a rare version of it when CBBC here in the U.K. were showing “Sidekick”, one of Nelvana’s Cartoons From Late 2010! In that version when it showed the Nelvana logo the logo would freeze for a few seconds whilst the haze lighting in the background was doing it’s animation and whilst the end of the theme tune would play, then it would cut to a CBBC promo for a different show!

Technically the Jimmy Timmy power hour was made by Butch Hartman, O entertainment, DNA productions and Frederator (distribution)
Why is Nelvana not a part of the Jimmy Timmy power hour I think it got replaced by Frederator and only Nelvana is the international distribution of the fairly OddParents seasons 1 through 5 before switching to Frederator productions being the distribution on DVDs along with Nickelodeon.
And also since if you live in the USA like me it will only just play Butch Hartman's creative production billbard and Frederator for who distributes adventure Time so for international countries it would show all three logos Frederator, Nelvana and billbard inc and that's only through seasons 1 through 5. So when short terms it would be the same thing for us in the USA and the same thing for international countries but only only through for the fairly OddParents if you're asking only through seasons 1 through 5 that you will see Nelvana. All the other seasons are made by Nickelodeon productions frederator productions and Butch Hartman production billbard inc.

Nick Jr distributed Nelvana in 1995 to 2006 and Disney Junior in 2005 to 2026 in the US.

The 1995 logo ran from 95-05, but by then the 2004 logo would've already been in use. Did some shows still use the 95' logo up until 2005? I'm kinda confused.

Sometimes companies will use multiple logos. Not sure why.
So here's the reason why they were still using the 95 from 2005 logo most of those companies use multiple logos especially in international when it comes to shows.
