- Before I begin: This video does not contain any direct logo captures from any logo uploaders. It may seem like it but I can reassure you I wouldn't consider stealing a means of making this. It just so happens that some of these logos only have one source. And I'm also fine with taking from credits uploads. In the case I may have accidentally used a direct logo capture from someone without realizing it, there is a statement at the end that says that they own those captures.
Happy new year! To start off this year, I have decided to upload a logo history for some Disney TV logos. Some variants may be missing such as some of the Disney-ABC logos but I think the amount of new variations this video features makes up. Some of these may seem like repeats, but they're not. Some just happen to be only slightly different. If new variants are discovered at a later date, I will extend this project when enough new variants have been found. So... Enjoy!

I definitely remember seeing those logos on Disney Channel Australia when I was a kid. And IDK why, but the 1988 music SCARED the hell outta me, especially in its PAL pitch.

The logo at 1:05 was also used for bumpers on the Disney Channel throughout the year of 1988, as well as a theatrical trailer of "Oliver and Company" albeit sped-up.

0:45 I seen this on Disney Channel and Toon Disney airings of DuckTales (also on the iTunes airings as well) and some episodes of Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears, plastering the 1985-2003 Walt Disney TV/Buena Vista TV logo.
You mean 1985-2007? Cause it was used in tandem with the 2003 Television Animation Logo until 2007, before it was moved to Disney-ABC Television/Disney Media Distribution.

For most shows yes, it was still used conjunctionally on some shows and errors until 2007 and even with some plastering too

They very briefly used the words pictures and television together like Columbia/Sony before just using them separately depending on the medium.

That was used on the original wave of syndicated reruns of *The Golden Girls* before they became cable exclusives and the Three Comets logo replaced it. The DVD put back the Touchstone logos, but not 100% identical to their original broadcast. Touchstone Television did not have a separate logo until 1988 (season 4) and since the copyright notice was under the logo, it is sometimes missing. The show would always cut directly from the credits to the logo, so the fade-in at the beginning is a dead giveaway. Even the episodes where the logo has the copyright notice does not have them in the correct font. They did not go back to the original first generation Masters, but they used dubs that were several generations down the line because those were the most easily accessible uncut masters at the time. That doesn't necessarily mean they are the only ones that are archived, it just means they took the path of least resistance.

I always imagine the comets are actually a trio of superheroes flying to their next crime fighting adventure or the Three Fairies from Sleeping Beauty (which is plausible since Buena Vista was a division of Disney after all). 19:57🎵...Call this place home🎵 Isn't weird to me that I like the season 1 and 2 end theme to Star vs the Forces of Evil because Eden Sher aka Star Butterfly is kick ass for singing an catchy pop song-like end theme for Star vs the Forces of Evil. The Winnie the Pooh end theme (love the Disney show and cartoon character grew up as a small girl) and Star vs the Forces of Evil season 1 end theme is my favorites. Oh, man I forgot about 18:20... the Phineas and Ferb one (aka my 2nd favorite).
