10-12-23 Riding my 5 year old Mototec 600W Electric Skateboard. It still can go! Michael Hoffman

I dusted off my first Electric Skateboard Mototec 600W. Top speed 18 mph. It weighs about 40 Lbs. The deck is concaved with good grip. The remote control is the old fashion white plastic gun shaped. It controls the speed of the board and the braking. The 3 12V. SLA series batteries are rated at 12 Amps. They are working and holding a full charge. Total distance can be about 9 to 10 miles. For the last 4 years the electric skateboard has come a longway. Lighter decks, lithium-ion battery packs, rubber wheels, off and on road, trail capable, higher speeds, LCD remotes and more.
