Is it just me,or does the psx version looks better than the pc version?Despite the lower resolution, the car models in this version and the tracks doesnt look that bad,like in the pc version.
@akatrain maybe a late answer.. but yes you can do it in the pc and ps1 version with split screen.. really cool.. you can for example catch together the opponents.. :) or only one is the police and the other have to catch.. and you can do pursuit on the pc version over LAN and internet too.. thats nice too
@Tiamat583 i agree with you, but i disagree with being NFS 4 the best on pc :) specially my favourite for pc is NFS 5 - porsche (it also came out for PSX) ;)
I arleady got this game one PC then, idk what made me stop playing this but it got randomly uninstalled. Then I installed it back and tried to play it but they were saying it was 'Uncompatible' randomly...I never played it again :(
@TomeeDee86 The ps version is indeed a huge dissappointment, The single player game modes are so rubbish that it not only kills this game but it ruins the experience, still the psx version had fantastic gameplay and graphics. But the pc version is more complete and much more fun and it has the game modes we saw on nfs3 on the psx. the best NFS on the psx is NFS3 and the best on pc is nfs high stakes. NFS4 on psx is only playable on multiplayer.

I prefer to play this game more than the new NFS! This is the best NFS of all the times!!!
The color of this Police is similar like Dubai Police..I guess the beacon lights relates to Germany one..
German police livery was green and white in the 90s.

This game and NFS 3 Hot Pursuit looks very good on Ps1 Version, and also NFS HP 2 on Ps2

oh, nfs 4 was great on the pc, it played like nfs3, but much better and more fun than nfs 3 on the pc.
