I was jamming with my ditto a couple weeks ago, i would spend hours playing on it. Now I know why my record loops change sound when i change amp tones, good tips.
Thank you, I am really struggling transitioning from playing stuff I've learnt, to just messing around, this really helps. I would love to see some of the staff's gear collections!
Dagan, we need to have you talk about your gear, they seem like they have stories. It’s alway interesting to see what and why you chose the gear you have.
Hi dagan great interesting video and thanks for keeping us entertained could you do one or tell me about the two rock device in the background please .
glyn james - Hi! It’s just a logo, I used to have a Two-Rock Studio Pro 35 and at came with a spare logo, I sold it on but kept it as a memento. Always loved that logo so stuck it on my Fractal next to the wireless!
Thank you for this! I learned a lot. I had grabbed a TC Electronic Flashback 2 delay/looper just before lock down and was not getting the results I wanted once I started to use the pedal. Very informative tips. :)
I have never bought a looper as I don't think I am good enough yet. To stop recording, shouldn't you need to click art the *end* of the final beat, rather than the start of the final beat? Sorry for this beginner question, I hope it kind of makes sense. I learn loads of Dagan and he always inspires.
Simon Robinson I bought a looper as my first pedal when I was a right beginner and trust me they’re so much fun for any guitar level. You should hit it for the end when you would carry on playing if you weren’t looping if that makes sense basically the start of the next bar.
Can you like use a looper to play a specific pre recorded chord progression for a guitar solo section or midfle 8 if you are on a solo gig and have no rhythm player? Basically in place of someone to back you up during the guitar solo... thanks!
I just got a lekato loop pedal and I'm having trouble. When I plug in the amp side it doesnt work but when I plug from the guitar it works. Am I doing something wrong? Or is the pedal good for plug in and play. Thanks
Are they endorsed by Landlord or something? Always seem to mention how they really like Landlord but never really use the pedals in practical situations (such as this).
JudgeFredd - Hey! It’s just the Les Paul straight into the Marshall JVM205H, with the TC Ditto Looper in the effects loop. I’m recording the audio from the JVMs emulated output. 👍
My problem with the looper is that the Roland Cube has no effects loop, so my looper does not work so well. The distortion is built into the amp. The loop pedal works great if I don't have distortion on, but if it is on it won't work properly
Use a camera, but only use camera audio for when you’re talking to the camera. Mic up your amp or cab with a suitable mic (Shure SM57 is a good pick) and run that into an audio processing program (REAPER?). Combine video and guitar audio. Mute camera audio when guitar is playing and vice versa
I'm a beginner guitarist and I don't quite get why people say learning with tabs is not the best way... I know it's probably more useful to work them out on your own but can someone explain if it's also something else??? (Genuinely curious)
maria norris esparza - Hi! There’s nothing wrong with tabs, I was just being daft. It’s just more rewarding working it out from ear! But I understand that can be difficult for someone just starting out.
You might be able to run it in the effects loop if your amp has one, and may be able to use different tones. Otherwise, if you run it straight into the amp, you won't keep your effects settings. You would need effects pedals in front of the loop pedal to use different settings.
This looper is one of the cheapest and worst loopers on the market. Do yourselves a favor and invest in a GOOD looper. Spend the extra cash. You’ll be glad you did.

Definitely in addition to this you should have your own RUclips channel! Easy to listen to and easy to learn from....thank you Dagan!
barry huizing he does! His Chanel is daganwilkin 👌
The little carpet for the pedal is such a vibe
Dagan seems like the nicest person on earth
Damn I wish I would be british

I didn’t know that PMT were specially weaving mini Persian rugs for stomp boxes, how cool is that.

I like the little ornate area rug under the pedal.
I second Dagan needs more like this as well as his usual
Thanks for that
Thanks for having us in your home, makes a change

Hay Dagan how about a rig run down of what you have at home?
Guess who's back in town

I've been playing guitar for more than a decade but I'm learning so much from these PMT videos. Thank you 🙏
Always love a Dagan vid, if he's half as much fun on stage... what a show!
You da BOSS Dagan!

Robert Cross Maybe one day!
My old Digitech RP255 started recording when you started playing. I wish more loopers did this.
After this demo I immediately ordered the Ditto plus. It's outstanding. Brilliant. Thanks.
Nice selection of gear. Love your upbeat enthusiasm! Keep up the great work!
Long live rock and roll ❤🤘
Dagan needs his own channel cuz this stuff is brilliant
Jack McDonagh just search dagan wilkin and you’ll find his channel
Thanks for keeping it going! Love your reviews. Awesome
Thanks Dagan. Really helpful lesson . Have been looking at purchasing a Ditto looper 👍🏼
Edna D' Evil honestly they’re amazing little things. Very easy to use and take bedroom jamming to the next level.
Fantastic ! Love the fun that you have with it!
Great video!

Hi mate. Thank you for sharing this with us. I’m new to a looper Same model you showing here and it’s great. Keep up the great work mate and thanks.
Good to see you Dagan. If it wouldn't get you sacked from PMT you should start your own RUclips channel.
Thank you for teaching me new ways to play with myself. I will have hours of fun experiment with this I am sure :)

Fantastic lesson. And what a tone.
I like the wall of Marshall
If you want something slightly different to Dagans looper I would highly recommend a boss RC-3 🤘
Very helpful info Sir.. Thank you kindly...
Thank you upload useful video.

Thank you Dagan! Cheers!
Great review, you're class me ol mate 🏆
Much needed now that we can't jam with others🤣🤣
I spy a Steve Jones custom ? Good man 😊

Like the ways, you had , best , good, and no limits of sounds , in guitars....
Dude, do you get paid in gear?

Well this explains some things.
thank you! so legit
Thanks man

How about a review of that

Hi Dagan - what is the signal chain used for this video ?

Man can you teach how to play that awesome solo on the guns n roses song don't cry... It's just my favorite...

how are you recording at home? could you give any tips for a easy way of recording at home?

Mans got a carpet for his pedal.
Russell Brand is into looping now. Neat.

Loopers need trim knobs to adjust the timing to be perfect.
Hi. I have the Mustang 1 amp, can you looper be used okay with this? Any suggestions how to use it so I can play different tones over the loops?
You might be able to run it in the effects loop if your amp has one, and may be able to use different tones. Otherwise, if you run it straight into the amp, you won't keep your effects settings. You would need effects pedals in front of the loop pedal to use different settings.
@@bluezedd That's what I thought. I may as well get a multi effects pedal with looper and I can use headphones. Cheers for the reply.
Andre Vivian you can alter the loops with pedals if you have the looper at the start of the signal chain
whats the unpainted guitar ? next to the paul
It’s my ‘87 Kramer Pacer Custom II, I’m playing it here: ruclips.net/video/5imEbCzkGSY/видео.html

@@xaris4252 Thanks!
How many chicks do you get cozy with because of your guitar skills?
The dagan is the 👨 man from the bug man

I have a lot of fun playing with myself. I meant with the Looper of course 🤥
How many people have told you "practice" is misspelled in the title?
