Great race, I really enjoyed watching this vid.
That was fun to watch ..great edit on the vid
Good racing!
Great video. That was really a demon move!
Man I miss the Brian Redman Historics… my dad (Clint Sawinski) drove it a bunch of years with different Porsche 911’s.
Love that track and town and that weekend is the pinnacle of classic cars on track!
Great driving btw!
That is a pretty epic event at an awesome track and a supportive community. Thanks!
Great race Tony! Thanks for the cameo!
Awesome video! Congratulations on the great run. Being there next year is on my bucket list, lol.
Great video great competition
Probably not a big factor, but that flapping thing in the rear camera view might have influenced your straight-line speed. Fun race. Thanks for bringing us into it.
Funny guy! I suspect the complete lack of aerodynamic bodywork may have an influence too. :)
If Cesar actually hit his marks and didn't back off in the kink he would have been way ahead. Great driving on your part driving a slow car, fast!!
Nice race, exciting finish! My pals from the PNW represented well.
Was great to have my friends from the West Coast (and East Coast) join us!
Nicely done video! You have the vintage racing attitude. It did look like a fun race with all the position changes. You deserved the Kastner trophy. It was fun chatting with you at the RA party about how your dad taught you to build your own engines and how few Triumph engine builders are left. Congratulations again on being picked for the Kastner trophy. Mark
Unlucky on that final lap. If the backmarker had been a few hundred yards further ahead you could have held off Caesar by using the backmarker to block the left side of the circuit (as I'm sure you yourself know). Pretty much a power circuit, so always hard for you to beat a faster car/raw speed.
Do any of the gauges work? No tach, no speedo,
Tach works, just obscured by the steering wheel. Speedo is just filling the hole, and is the only non-working one.
@@TonyDrews Thanks for posting this race. Very cool.
too less power means, later on break earlier on throttle!
Why do you seem to always hug the inside of the turn? It isn't helping you at all! The idea is to have the highest average speed down the next straight - to do that you should back off a little from those you are following and take the turn at your own -faster- speed and then pass them down the next straight. What do I know.
