- Patty with Jungle Frenzy joined us live to discuss safe and responsible monkey ownership. Please watch this if you are considering owning a monkey. Monkey ownership is a serious commitment that requires knowledge and discipline. We do not generally recommend getting a monkey. Thanks! Very informative! And glad a.j was there as well.
"Don't get a monkey, don't!"
I hate this because it's an elitist way to think, only we can have monkeys, you shouldn't tho

Do you spay, neuter or alter monkeys in any way like removing or capping teeth? Typically how old is a baby when you get it? Are the babies tested for diseases transmissible to humans and what’s all done for the health certificate? Do they come with a health guarantee?
Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video and hopefully answer my questions!
It's common practice to remove the canine teeth. The baby has to be only a few days old otherwise it will bond with the mother. All in all it's not very ethical.
Adult female monkeys are used to breed, over and over and over, only to have her babies taken from her. The mom's mourn the same as humans losing their babies, but these people don't care. I can't think of anything more abusive and disgusting to purchase an animal from these people. It's soon to be outlawed.
I would feed my capuchin taco bell or about 5%-10% of what I'm eating. These guys have an impossible standard for caring for animals. If I abuse myself or my kids with subway sandos then there monkey can too- they aren't cherubs
