Smart. Where I live, someone opened the door for a door knocker and was held up at gunpoint.
I NEVER answer the door to anyone. If you call me to tell me you're coming over then, fine. If I am expecting something from FedEx, Amazon, etc, fine. Otherwise, even if it's 11am broad daylight, sorry, I won't open my door.

I used to be a door knocker for this dodgy sales company!
One time I knocked on a door and got no answer, then looked in the front window. It was a huge window with SO MANY dolls and stuffed animals facing outside. They were all old and covered in dust and there was a video camera on a stand behind them all..
No idea what was going on but I noped out of there real quick..
I would too, that place sounds creepy.

Please take the time to look out a window, peep hole or get a cheap outdoor camera. (mine’s connected to my phone) A little precaution could save your life! Growing up in a small town, I never dreamed my doors would be locked during the day & me home.

I use to live Denmark & my office was a start up in middle of a sketchy neighbourhood where a couple of junior staff also lived for the cheap apartments near by. I can imagine this first story & danish shady is a whole other level of creepy because of those dead stares & how danish sounds
