I think we should all have tall pockets built into wall next to windows on both sides and put machetes or sledge hammers because once someone sticks their hand through the window, we cut off their fingers or smash them to hell. Razor wire behind bushes between bush and wall of house under every window. Doors should have lever that comes across the doors so no one can kick it in and even if they found secret key, they still couldn't get in. What do y'all think?

@@King_of_Gotham Used to work at a haunted house myself, and more than once during the night, at least one of the actors would get a punch thrown at them. It was annoying but it gave us the chance to scare them again and sent them running, which when the lights would go out (all were on timers), the scared idiots would smack right into the walls. One of the funest jobs I'd ever had.

The 1st story kinda hit home. Growing up in a hostel environment with one shitty parent & a parent who's often absent trying keep the bills paid and maintain the basics is a living nightmare. You grow up fast spending so much time running from it perusing financial & immediate family stability that you never find time to properly address it then BOOM...... Something occurs that causes PTSD that you didn't even know you had. The overwhelming feeling to defend yourself with extreme prejudice is something I cant began to put into words.
The intro to the first story immediately reminded me of the “When I was your age, I’d walk uphill, with no shirt on, through the desert, *IN THE SNOW* to get to school” lecture everyone’s grandparents would give them every time they complained.

A couple of nights? If they were anywhere that it was illegal (I live in CO where it’s legal) but back home in Louisiana it’s still illegal. My cousin was sentenced to 5 years for a couple ounces but served 2 and a half years. Not nights. Lol
Story #2 brought back some memories about following your instinct. I followed mine when I was on my way home from work at 12:30 in the morning. Asked my mom and bf to meet me at the bus stop with a car. I had decided that day not to take mine because of the parking issues at work- yeah DUMB. But on the bus I just got a weird feeling, so i asked them to meet me. I got off the bus and a guy got off with me, i stopped to cross the road to them and this guy grabbed my arm, my bf got out and shouted across, yo you finna die, man let me go and ran away. Freaked me out haven't caught a bus since then. It's been 6 years.

Another great and very interesting set of compilations!! I liked how the list of stories were not typical creepy monster horror stories, but rather real life horror story situations and how people have persevered through them.
Maybe next time you could do something like that but also maybe with a few sprinkles of cryptids and other monster run in’s... haha!

Cop's daughter here with some practical advice. If you're going to scare someone with a gun, make it a shotgun. Load and rack it by the front door before unlocking and opening the door. The noise of it racking the shell is the universal signal to RUN THE HELL AWAY. If you must use a 9mm, then cock it quickly and loudly at the door, wall or window closest to the sound you are hearing. That may have the same effect. This will prevent you from being a target for intruders who are potentially armed.
People criticizing the guy in story #1 don’t know what is like to have mental illness and be fighting your own demons constantly; regardless of upbringing or the methods he chose to bring peace with his dad.

The story about the scary group of people on the porch and yard gave me a flashback to a story I heard maybe two or more years back. These two guys were basically held hostage for an extended period due to leaving their phones in the car. There were people outside who behaved oddly, though I can't recall details.
Turned out that the area had been plagued by this crazy cult that used to abduct teens. This was the first sign that they had returned to the area. Police actually guarded the house for the rest of the night. The family moved soon after. Yikes!
