You should use a slice of bread to soak up grease in soups etc..

Within cooking you can use muslin cloth ,to soak up grease . Or ice cubes in a serving spoon to attract the grease ,( solidifying )the grease to be scraped of the top of food.
The Glove trick was spectacularly dumb and awful.
Why would I put holes in a perfectly good bowl when I own a colander???? 😂
But if you don't own one, you need one and shops are closed at that very moment?
@@sabineschroter1012 If you don't own own a colander you get creative, not destructive. Drilling holes in a plastic bowl will only add more plastic to your food. Put a plate or a lid from a saucepan or storage bowl over the bowl/pan to hold back vegetables. Make sure to use pot holders to protect your hands if the water is very hot.

I had to laugh at the very beginning when they took a heating tool to burn holes in a bowl to wash potatoes. 🤣🤣🤣 I guess they've never heard of a collander, which you can get at the dollar store.

So I was reading the reviews before watching the video. I thought this must be awful. But I figured I would decide for myself. Glad I did. Most of the hacks are fine. Some are good and I might try. Some I have never seen before. The way people went on about the tampons 😒 good grief. It wasn't that bad. I won't do it. I'll stick to my paper towels. Overall it was a good video with some good ideas.
