Kris is so Canadian she cant help but be the most polite uplifting person on the internet. Thanks for always putting a smile on my face.
Me sitting here, sick, sniffling into a tissue, wrapped in a blanket, actually smiling and laughing a little when Kris uses the stud finder. Made my day a little better
Edit: Thanks for all the well wishes guys! I am slowly getting better. It's feeling like forever, mostly cuz of the headaches. And boy do I hope all y'all that are also sick get better quickly.
Also, cheers to Kris who is giving me lotsa smiles as I rewatch old videos, especially all the 5-minute craft type ones.
Hope you feel better soon 🥰

As an American teen, who isn't a freaking idiot, this makes me sad for my country. As always, watching these were hilarious with Kris. Thank you Kris!! ❤

The French/American in me has to correct you Kris: 1 mile is actually ~1.6km, while 1km is 0.62 miles. I believe you got the units mixed up towards the end of the video :) Just trying to avoid American speed demons on European highways this summer after they watched your video (which they should otherwise). Thank you for everything you do!!
And I'll join the party poopering saying Russia is in Europe AND Asia. The "border" goes somewhere along the Ural mountains (more like mole hills nowadays, veeeeeery old mountains that have almost completely eroded).
True true but Americans only speed on our way to the gun store or McDonald's
Yep, I caught that too. But if I were filming myself or getting filmed I don't know if I could keep it straight either.☺️

When she was talking about maple syrup she was just reminding us of how kind & polite Canadians rlly are 😂

Ya all Canadians aren't actually super nice its just the majority of Americans are not so nice, No offence to any Americans Im sure you are nice enough
@@benmac7772 oh no this comment is very true. My ex girlfriend was Canadian and she was a piece of shit. But a lot of other Canadians seem so much sweeter. Americans are usually buttholes
Not ALL Canadians are really nice, but most of us are. As someone born and raised in Canada, I've met a fair few @ssholes. H0m0ph0bes, tr@nsph0bes, r@cists, p3doph1les, r@pists, you name it. I am someone who is part of the LGBT+ community, as well as being Native Canadian (which means I have darker skin, but I'm not considered black, for anyone who doesn't know), and honestly, there have been quite a few encounters with h0m0ph0bes when me and my girlfriend were out holding hands in public. Know-it-all catholics, mostly. Little do they know, I went into research, and, lo and behold, the scripture they love to quote is a MISTRANSLATION! It doesn't say "man shall not sleep with man", it says "man shall not sleep with boy", which means their beloved God believes that CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE USED AS S3X TOYS! THEIR GOD IS OK WITH GAYS!
I'm sorry, I went on a bit of a rant. My point is, there's @ssholes in Canada too. Not as many, but @ssholes nonetheless.
@@benmac7772anadians are rude af, but also sometimes polite in smaller places.
I’m in Vancouver, so it is just terrible here. People are so rude.
I moved here from a smaller city where people say “good morning/afternoon” when they walk by. And smile at randoms who walk by. I did that when i first moved to vancouver and people looked at me like i was a criminal.
Edit: i just remembered an article talked about how tourists were surprised when people in Victoria said “thank you” to the bus drivers on public transit. I do that in Vancouver too, and others also do it here. I didn’t realize it was weird until tourists mentioned it.
“I was looking respectfully...directly at your tata’s” that’s the hardest I’ve laughed in a while. Love your vids!!!
As a Canadian, I wonder what different Canadian accents Kris can do 🙂 I’d love to hear Kris do a Québécois accent and say poutine correctly 👀😂
i totally butchered the name Québécois and when i gave i just Quewqtseyfcvh yea good enough right

To be fair, though, a lot of Americans pronounce it wrong also.
Yeah another American who pronounced it Ne-vah-duh instead of Ne-VA-duh. And I figured people of the state would know, still blown away i never did. Looked it up and apparently everyone else still pronounces it closer to true Spanish origin but Nevadans no longer do. Their state, their rules I guess. 🤷♀️
I’m from Florida (😔 love my state, hate my govt) and we completely botch up the Spanish on our pronunciation of our state. For those that don’t know it’s kinda like “Flar-da” to most native Floridians (esp those that aren’t Hispanic/Latino). My family is from New York and it’s like we’re saying different words.

She's gonna be one of those women that look 50 in her 80s. I just know it.
Im rewatching a lot of Kris’s videos and she has foreshadowed her and Caleb’s relationship in like every video
I like how Kris looks so serious after mixing up miles and km conversion. :) You got them Kris.
Unfortunately, she got it backward 1 km = 0.62 miles.
Yeah, 1 mile is 1.609344 kilometers
The mix up is the most American thing about the whole video 😂 let's go kmk!
Okay I came here because I was like wait, this isn't what I thought
As soon as she said that I had to go back to make sure she actually said that, and it wasn't just my head hearing her wrong.
I love all her accents, she's so good at so many things and she should be proud of that! We love you Kris!
It's sad how accurate this is lol. In school they didn't teach the 50 states until 8th grade and they only gave you a sheet of paper with the states names to take home and memorize. No instructions, that was it. Dropped out and did home school for personal reasons and my mom was shocked at how little they taught and how they made it so confusing to learn. Within a week of home schooling I not only understood multiple subjects better but I actually enjoyed learning again. Some of my friends were jealous because those teachers really don't like teaching and would rather you just figure it out.
Dang that is really depressing in elementary school in Canada a few of our units per grade We’re on the United States and other countries. Same until high school at least
@@MsBluebot I agree, they really failed at teaching us.
Really? It must vary state to state then. In my school (Massachusetts) I remember having to memorize the states/capitols and identify them on a map in 4th grade. We did something similar in 6th grade as well where we had to learn all the countries.

Yes I did just look up that last one.
Also sorry bout the rant, had to get it out.
@@penelope5301 You're fine. It doesn't bother me.
Funnily enough, Great Britain invented the Imperial system in 1824 and adopted it with the passage of the Weights and Measures Act. This system lasted unit 1864 when the metric system was adopted in Britain.
A Frenchman, whose name I can't remember, invented the Metric system in the 1700s, but it wasn't used a whole lot until France officially adopted it in 1837.
The United States uses the Imperial System similar to the one developed by the British, but it’s their own version.
The US was planning to inspect the Metric system for our own use, and Thomas Jefferson even sent a ship to pick up official copies for the official measurements. But the ship fell victim to pirates (I believe off the Barbary Coast) and the samples were lost, leaving the US to continue using our slightly modified version of the British Imperial System.
Americans do know how to use the metric system, when measuring diameter of bullets and measuring drugs

I love that she was going on about maple syrup. I will only touch the pure maple syrup but I prefer the light amber over the dark amber. The dark is what's sold in grocery store. I found the light at a local stand and it's the most amazing thing. It's not as sweet as the dark amber which is perfect for me. If you haven't tried it before I absolutely recommend it. It looks more like honey and is harder to find because it's the very first bit that comes out of the trees
