So I don't think robot mops should be doing all the cleaning. It does what I need it to do. I would never expect it to clean a pile of rice or a 3day spill of liquid on my floor. Loved the video.
Seems promising, although it’s a lot of money. You are right about having to clean the pads, I have an M6 and it doesn’t take that much longer to replace the pad and fill the tank.
Hello, thank you for this great review. I notice in below comments you mention roomba 980 is best for carpets. My house is only tiled floors, so can you recommend which robot vacuum would be best for that? I’m not looking for anything too fancy, medium budget would be great.
Depends on your needs, for carpet. The best overall I've tested for carpet so far would be the Roomba 980. The best value for money would be the S5 Max. or S4 Max. Budget option is a toss-up, I like the DreameTech D9, it's one of the least expensive smart robot vacuums. I still have a lot to test so I could not do a compilation video yet, but stand by for it.
My S6 MaxV is great. It takes about 6-7 rooms plus mopping on one charge. And for me anyway it looks clean. Only thing you need to do is clean the mopp and maybe a extra big cleaning yourself once each second week. I got my S6 MaxV for the same price as S5 because they going to release the new S7 this month.
I guess it doesn’t expect you to use vaccume very often and mopping is enough most of the time. It’s likely true if your home is all tile/wood floor and you have a good habit of not littering at home
@Retro Everything well it's not about laziness, it's about price and convenience. The whole point of robots is automation, what's the purpose of automation if it's doesn't function on its own.
I think the biggest thing to highlight is that it doesn’t vac AND mop at the same time. You’ll still have to switch things out and have storage. Just doesn’t seem worth it.
Good concept but still a ways to go. Though since this is a year old video, maybe they’ve fixed some of these issues? Great video! Very informative and detailed!!
I hv this.. i use it mainly for mopping and it did a gd job... But for vacuum the suction is not strong enough and id prefer if it comes with roller brush with strong suction of at least 4000pa
At 0:22 you say you base your finds on test results to be subjective. I think you mean objective. Subjective means it could be based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions
Its basicly a mop robot with a vacuum... Not bad. Not good. Would rather buy a good robot vac from roborock and a dedicated mop robot for combined price prbably less than this thing
Do you recommend the dreame d9? Lots of conflicting videos on youtube. I'd love the s5 max but if the d9 can do maybe 95% of how the s5 max can perform, for the price difference, is it good enough? Also, you pinoy?
Dreame D9 is a notch below the S5 Max in terms of vacuuming. I'm not sure why, it could be the flaps in front of the brush hindering its performance, but it's just a notch below. If vacuuming performance is a deal-breaker, I'd go with the S5 Max.
@@CordlessVacuumGuide thanks! Lots of european reviewers are giving the d9 a good review. Apparently there's 2 different versions, the north american version and the euro/asian version (with removable end caps on the main brush). May I ask what version you have?
I purchased one and I regret making the purchase because the pad dries very fast and most of the times is not even napping mopping and just running around with the dry pad, there's no option on the app to make it go and wash more frequently, I emailed the tech support and they said that's how it is suck it up buttercup!
It seems like ur telling us its not a good product but in a happy and cheerful way but i ended up understanding you. But yeah £900 for this isnt worth it
Plz do not buy this product U will suffer from its application And possibly make u buy an expensive brick. Plz do some research and u will know that I am not the only one having this prob.
$1000 for an automated floor mopping system. Umm, no thanks. I will continue to mop my floors by hand while my S9+ keeps cleaning my floors on a regular basis.
To be honest I don't really like this robot. Yeah it's cool that it washes pads itself but there are too many cons and it can't vacuum and mop at the same time. What Ecovacs and Roborock are doing is a way better strategy imo.
I used my the very first time yesterday and i like it. Still learning on how to use it . Thank you for the detailed review.

Hey thanks for this review man. I really was interested in this robot vacuum/mop combo. Really detailed info too. Thanks!

Great review, incredibly thorough. Thank you.
4:02 The gab between the pads is no issue. The triangular pads will cover the middle subsequently.
What I meant was the pressure on the tips isn't the same as the middle portions. Hence the gap. The edges fill the space but pressure isn't there
Nice review. I got mine in yesterday and will certainly test it against the S7. I like the innovation. Have a good one!
Thanks Jamie. Please do share what you think of this product after testing it.

Hi buddy what did you think?
Great review! Extreme detail and great clarity in your explanation. The only improvement I'd hope for is more thorough punctuation in the captioning.

For tile, have a look at the Roborock S5 Max or S4 Max. The former has decent mopping performance, if it's a need.
Thank you for this review. It has helped me make my decision on what robot mop to buy
Waiting for mine to arrive tomorrow. This review is very helpful.
Glad I could help
did you like it? How was it?
An excellent review, Very detailed and helpful, thank you
You're welcome sir
ALL of these reviews... but WHICH robot vacuum do you recommend the most?! I will literally purchase through your affiliate link!

@@CordlessVacuumGuide hello, which one would u recommend for me, I have vynal floors and 2 carpets in different room. Id want a hover/mop roboy
If i have to swap the pads for mopping and vacuuming thats a big turn down for me ..
It basically defeats the entire purpose of self cleaning. I have to touch and manage the robot every day regardless...?

What a pain in the butt. I'll wait for some huge improvements.
What about if you have carpets on top of your tile?
It has a carpet sensor, so it avoids them.
Great review

Does this leave wheel marks are the wheels are behind and goes over the wet floors? I have this issue with brava m6

May I buy it from Bangladesh?
Price and the fact that the suction 'sucks'. Ill keep my roborock and just mop the worst parts manually since the vacuum part is more usefull
At 0:22 you say you base your finds on test results to be subjective. I think you mean objective. Subjective means it could be based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions
You're right sir.
Will it climb slightly raised floors?
Depends on how much it's raised. It can claimed a few millimeter threshold, but that's it, especially with the pads attached.
Does this leave streaks on glossy tile?
Unfortunately, there will be streaks
Which auto vaccum cleaner best for tiled floor in a small apartment aswell as budget?
Bro I love the accent... !! Where are you from ?
how does this robot deal with 2 floors? I understand I can carry it upstairs/downstairs, but how can it go refill water
At the time of testing, it can only save one map level, so it's tricky.
Serious question.
How well does this do around pet pee/poop?
I'd imagine bout as good as any other
Not good
Not good. It will mop dog pee, but I wouldn't even dare try. You'll have to clean the pads or risk the stench.

May i ask u how u did it?

I don't think it is yet. You'll have to check Amazon.in if they carry it.
Good invention...
Where do I get one?
It's available on Amazon

@@AltitudeAerials I'd say yes, if your priority is keeping your floors clean and Roborock being more popular has better parts availability.

It has problems connecting with my wifi. 🤦🏼
What robot cleaner would you recommend for mopping like this one?
The S7 would be close, but it isn't as hands-free as this one, but it has a much better app, and vacuuming performance.
It seems like ur telling us its not a good product but in a happy and cheerful way but i ended up understanding you.

so it looks like the robot doesn't vacuum very well at all :)
You started off bias - already complaining - review it - don’t get mad about it - I have this - works like a charm
No bias here. Just laying out expectations for the potential buyer. I actually like it and use it the most among the robot mops I have.
How did you connect it to your wifi?
Yes its lot of money but worth if you are a freaky cleaner . And hv a little big space to clean. It does the job very efficiently
I doubt it would work with cat puke
It won't. It cannot pick up anything. The pads only spin and agitate but that's it
Are those blood stains? 😂
Red wine :)

To much work to.use that a mop is easier
These things are useless in my home :D Would not make it 1 meter before bumping into stuff
so basically it isnt any good lol
To be objective I guess
Not widely available around the world. Useless!!
U r just showing that the robot is cleaning a already shining room. Such a fake review.
