I remember running out to go get this game when it released. It was so amazing back then. The angle of the view, the 3d elevation, all the new city building additions, the newspapers popping up. I sunk hours and hours into this game as a kid. I actually still own the game to this day, though it's sadly not the physical copy anymore.
Thank you very much for this video! My first contact with SimCity was the SimCity 2000 version that was released on the GameBoy Advance. I spent hours playing that game and only realized years after that it was actually a series of PC games. I appreciate your whole series about the SimCity games. Great work!
never played this one, SimCity 3000 Unlimited was the one I played as a kid, but it's interesting to see how the SimCity games prior to 3000 became 3000 over time
Very well made and cool Video. I enjoy that you mix a retrospective with info and trivia surrounding the game and then actually dive into it. I enjoyed it with your other SimCity videos too.
So many hours spent in that Urban Renewal Kit as a kid. Great look back at a true classic & one of the games that made me want to make games (still working on that, lol).
Lets be honest here. Every Sim city is better than Sim City 2013. I would rather play Sim City on SNES for the rest of my life over playing 5 minutes of 2013 ever again.
At 7:19, what kind of console used to run this simcity 2000? -visible water pipeline -visible tunnel -visible subway tunnel -1900 and 2030 have different technology Please i need to know which SC2000 is this

SimCity 2000 was the best. Actually taught you about city planning and civil engineering. It's great!

Few years ago unfinished prototype of SimCity port for NES was leaked. I bet even unfinished was more playable than 2013.
