    Here’s some knowledge for all bashing J for overworking his staff:
    I used to work for a U.S. Congressman and 12-14 hour shifts were normal. Even though I was making $10 an hour at that time, he was always there next to me & the rest of the staff putting in those long shifts. He was always driven before and after he became a congressman. Seeing that drive in him, build a foundation that has helped me grow as a person and helped me apply that to my endeavors when I left.

    • @cheekeebreekee
      @cheekeebreekee 5 лет назад +1

      this is typical in ANY and EVERY business.. from retail to service to anything.. Employees(making the lowest wages) work for managers(making higher wages) who work for their bosses(making even higher wages) who work for the owners(making the most wages)... and guess what? whenever the owners make over 10 million a year.. they don't kick any of that down to their low end employees. the bosses get bonuses.. the managers get even lesser bonuses.. and the employees get nothing but their original wages. life works like this.. the difference here though is you'll see JC doing for people in public and showing more love than you'd get from another retail store or "urban wear" store.
      a lot of "scandalous" shit in the world.. but you gotta work to get somewhere. you're not just going to get hired and be given the key to the safes.

These RUclips videos would be dope if they were modeled after how Round 2 does their videos. It looks like you have a great shop but other than the Supreme fire extinguisher you sold to that guy (who looked famous but idk who he was) we have no clue what ppl actually bought. I know it's probably impossible on Black Friday with how many customers were in the store but don't be afraid to walk up to someone with the camera and ask them what they bought and why they bought it.

    Just cause “you take care of them” doesn’t mean they can’t get a break. I’m a manager at adidas and if an associate needed a break or even just a quick 5 minute break bc of the madness at store I would let them go. I know it’s your store and u wanna run it ur way, but that’s not right

    The store sells at inflated resell value, when you can purchase from stock X below retail lol more like multi millions worth of inventory lol

      You're right...but only ppl in to sneakers know that. A parent buying their child a hyped expensive pair of kicks don't know what stock x is...it's more non sneaker heads than us...i wouldn't be surprised if he bought some heat off stock x and flipped it for more in store ha.

    The whole point of living life like this and owning a business like this is because you have a passion and love for the industry and shoes. If you are unhappy with what you are doing then why do it? I think you spoke out of context and did not mean what you said when you said "even i don't want to do this" it doesn't make much sense then. I would love to run and operate a business surrounded by the things i love and enjoy. I run a reselling business because i love it and it brings me happiness and enjoyment each and everyday. I own a reselling business so i am free to work my own hours and live life happy without doing a 9-5 with a manager screaming down my back with do this do that sort of shit. You should enjoy whatever it is you do in life if you dont then you need to reevaluate why you are in the business you are in. Love the vid and keep up the good work brother.

    If he had a sales tracker app they would be more than likely tracking individual sales results for the consultants. Instead of rambling on at the end of a 12 hour day about how much the store did, it would be way more motivating to talk about the individual success the salesperson has achieved....

    Man! I remember when sneaker culture was on the super down low out here in the bay and all my Asian homies would have the rarest dunks and shit. I still have my Jedi dunks I got at TRUE SF my local shop. Now this shit is wayyy too saturated. I’m happy the owners of these stores who I know have been in it as long as I have are winning but damn! Skateboarding gets no credit.

      Man stop saying he “made” 114K that’s a revenue number and even he said they don’t even make 10% on that. Profit is probably around 10-12 which isn’t amazing considering the capital they had to put up to get this place running.

      @Max Sharpe ur still not seeing the fuckin point this dude is trying yo compare hisself to his workers and its no were near the same thing outta that "30hours" he probably made 12 or 15 thousand dollars and the workers adter a long ass day will be lucky to make at the maximum of 300 bucks but probably more than likely alot less
