Using JavaScript and SVG to create a design inspired by Victor Vasarely's Vega

In this video we look at an HTML page that uses JavaScript to dynamically populate an SVG (scalable vector graphics) element to create a design based on Victor Vasarely's Vega. The design starts with a checkboard pattern that appears to have a spherical "bulge." The JavaScript uses a setInterval timer to change the radius of the spherical bulge. It also uses the HSL (Hue-Saturation-Lightness) color scheme/model to change the colors dynamically.
