My guess is that the running men's moral alignments have been reversed, and they had become a shadow of their former self. The thing that turned them that way is the black and white object Kei was holding onto. I honestly think it reverses anything in general, that's why their rooms were upside down. Seems like Kei is about to be affected by that thing, turning him bad and reversing some of his colours (cyan outline to orange outline). Fortunately, I don't think it's a moment that'll last too long. Maybe that's the moment they find out that the object is responsible for the reversal. With that being said, this might be also why Lonky and Popo don't seem affected by the reversal, because they were considered morally grey already, and you can't reverse grey. One more thing, I don't think Ga- Kei saying, "Please, help me!" at that moment is connected with the scene shown. I think he says that line to Rema (and maybe Lonky and Popo), pleading for help to turn his friends (the remaining running men) back to normal. I guess he had been trying to solve the situation on his own before Rema came to investigate.

It's probably Lonky's and the trailer is purposely misleading. Lonky, probably on the good side, had to silence Rema in fear that someone or something else is going to attack them. OR Lonky thought Rema wasn't on his (and Popo's) side at the time.
