Hey Danny! Thanks so much for another helpful video! Your editing is really impressive…. as are your “wrench cranking” skills! I hope you and your family have a peaceful and blessed Christmas! Sending ❤ and respect from central Florida!
I really appreciate your kindness, I feel like the world has changed a lot in the last few years and we need more kindness and less stress in this time.

I sold my 2008 Honda civic about 7 months ago .. bought a VW Golf .. still i love watching your Videos .
I do appreciate your loyalty
Bad decision my friend😂😂
Your Honda could probably run for ever. With VW is a question of time when it will become an endless money pit, so good luck🍀 with it
@@iansellan well , its 2011 Golf , 1.4 turbo , it has only 100000 KM on it , believe me it is a good deal , Consumes little fuel , very economic , and well maintained , im really happy with it , still miss the Memories i had in the Civic . 😁
Why would u do that 🤦...horrible German cars
@@tonistarks2874 And what car do you Drive ?
First of all, thank you, this video helped much more than any repairmen I took my car so far. However, I have a Honda Civic T1.0 (2018), it randomly won't start time to time, cranks but not starting, and all repairmen said there is no issue. I think, not being able to start the car for an hour is an issue but can't really figure out with what exactly. I for one cannot hear anything when it comes to fuel pump. Any suggestions would be appreaciated.
It would be best to make your checks when the car won’t start, also check codes, if you have a scanner check codes and crank sensor signal
Thanks Danny for this helpfull video
I appreciate your support
Sir, my honda civic 2008 starts normally, but sometimes it cranks long, once it starts, the RPMs are high, and after some time, the RPMs go back to normal, what could be the reason?
Best Regards from
Pakistan
Thank you soo much Sir
Wish you could show some way to get rid of that nasty beep sound when you put key into switch.
Yes, that is annoying
8:15. Am I missing something.? After testing the electric injector signal is good can the actual injectors be bad?
What a great question and sorry for not explaining that detail in the video, Here is the explanation. One bad injector will not usually cause the car not to start, it will cause a hard start or rough idle, so the next step should be either making sure you have enough fuel pressure for the car to start and run the or a compression test
@@dannysdiygarage got it thanks. I’m still learning the diagnosis stuff. So a bad injector will cause a mis fire but not a no start.
2001 civic won't start cold below 60 degrees F, if I disconnect coolant temp. sensor and connect a warm coolant temp sensor in to the harness fires right the way. Any idea?
I’ll need to look at a schematic for a 2001, I do have a video on a 09 that explains the temperature sensors
Have you used a scan tool to check the coolant temperature sensor? ruclips.net/video/FGfn6LIgbxA/видео.htmlsi=j1klLkLH6bqHrpq6
I have a crank no start on 2008 Honda civic lx and relay is clicking.
My Honda Civic 2009 makes a really loud engine sound when going at high speed (from 85km/h). Just wondering what is the problem of it and how to solve it. It doesn't have the engine insulation pad.
Hard to say, sorry 😞 wish I could help
@@dannysdiygarage thanks for the reply. After doing few research it seems like the noise comes from bad wheel bearing. I will need to check again with the mechanic
What fixed it ? Common on.
I have done so much and can’t get my 08 Honda civic to start
What’s been done and what’s the issue
Ohh Danny I advise you Yuasa Batteries for you vehicles. They are good Japanese 🇯🇵 batteries.
I've never heard of them, sorry
@@dannysdiygarage They are the biggest producers of Vehicle Batteries in the World. Like Honda for engines
@@iansellan I learned something, thanks, let me know if you decide to purchase one and the price, I’m interested in new options
@@dannysdiygarage Yes we learn, new thinks every day. I already have brought one for my Civic it is an EFB battery for Start and Stop sistems. It is a YUASA YBX7027 and they cost from 120€ to 160€ here in Europe. I am not sure if they sell them in the US too.
@@iansellan appreciate the information
So, what happened? Why it didn't start???
You showed "how NOT TO FIND problem" video?
Just showing the steps to diagnose
