    I winced when the drill began to smoke, but great job. Probably the best part was the interaction between you and your wife. She checked your hillbilly drawl, and you toned it down, then you tried to put her in her place with "Sweetie". Very funny stuff along with showing us how to solve the transom problem without putting holes in the boat. Great job.

    It went 16 knots with the motor raised but how fast did it go before you raised the motor?

      It went the same. I did not get a speed increase raising the motor. That’s why I did not want to make it permanent. Thanks for the question!

    Might want to try a diy cavitation plate. Motor giving all it’s got. Pretty heavy boat ya got there.

    Your drill bit is either dull, or a wood twist drill, that you have dulled.

      I think it was getting dull got the bit from harbor freight. It was new when I started and I did not use oil. Thanks for watching!

      @@doingstuffwithdylan4367 I got this cheap 35hp with a long shaft I want to put on my little v hull. I also want to be able to switch between my 10hp short shaft so trying to see what I can do to make it work. Good ideas in the video!

    That is absolute overkill. Way too much material for the job. Drilling the transom and using some aluminum plate on each side would have been so much easier.
