Oken doesn’t change anything about them aside from gaining access to the Soul Palace though. Oken is literally just a key put into their normal bones so they have access to the Soul Palace. There isn’t any enhancements given to them for having Oken, its just a key. The definition for Oken is “King’s Key”. They’re still considered Pure Shinigami. Ichigo on the other hand is actually every race, and Aizen obviously transcended Shinigami. You can tell the clear difference between Aizen/Ichigo and Ichibe.
Oetsu Nimaya definitely deserves to be higher on this list. He took out Yawach's elite schutzstaffel single handedly in base form. I would put him above base Aizen.
Aizen blitzed and one shotted Shunsui, X-axis was struggling with Shunsui. He was also toying with a version of Ichigo who had twice the reiatsu of a captain which surprised Unohana (who is clearly stronger than Shunsui in raw power he’s afraid of her and even if you want to argue against that one she specifically said Ichigo’s reishi is comparable to “ours” before she caught on to his full power) who was in Bankai. He caught his sword with his bare hand and blocked his Getsuga with a Kido. Even when Ichigo was masked it wasn’t enough. And to further articulate how big a deal this is consider when using the Hogyoku to create Wonderweiss Aizen said when it comes into contact with someone who has twice the spirit energy of a captain it briefly becomes full strength. That’s telling us Aizen himself is in that range and is still dominating someone who is at the higher end of that. Pure Shinigami etc have a limit and it’s clear Aizen reached that limit not only because of the feats but the only thing he feared about Yama being his flame and nothing else. Yama who Kubo said is not a part of Squad 0 only because no one could fulfill the role of head captain better than him. Yama who claimed no Shinigami has been more powerful than him for 1000 years (he didn’t say born he said emerged) when critiquing Aizen for thinking dealing RJ was enough to defeat him. Aizen was also one of the 2 beings noted to be keeping the gates of hell closed. He singled out Aizen and Yhwach for a reason and we know the statement is referring to base Aizen bc of the context, they weren’t activate with the Hogyoku for long

Meanwhile, Kenpachi took out one of the strongest Sternritters and held back a Royal Guard. There's also Aizen, who fought Yhwach for a while, while he was sealed.
Hitsugaya gonna be one of the strongest if not the strongest among the captains when he fully developed his powers. I believe his zanpaktou is also among the strongest ever

I'll do an extra post RG Byakuya>Adult Toshiro>TYBW Zaraki they both fought THREE stronger versions of Gerard than Zaraki ever fought and didn't lose to him and even defeated two of those stronger versions one on screen and one off screen and considering that the off screen one had the Quincy crown on his head it means that it was Volstandig Gerard making a pretty clear picture that they're fighting and defeating versions of Gerard that are at least x5 or x10 times stronger than before (since that's the regular increase Volstandig should have considering that it's an evolution to what Ishida used against Mayuri in the SS Arc)

It can come up with nigh perfect counters for his opponents after careful observations, and Mayuri's modified Bankai being factor of Mayuri's strength is valid as IQ is also a big factor when it comes to scaling a character's feats and not just strength alone thus since Mayuri is seemingly the person to come up with a way of modifying his Bankai and the person to execute that notion single-handedly, it does in a way make his power(modified Bankai) earned and therefore his own strength including all those drugs he develops by himself also take into account that Mayuri has one of, if not the highest battle IQ of all the Gotei captains And BTW, don't forget about Mayuri's shikai, which has paralysis powers and can incapacitate his opponents by stabbing them anywhere on the body

i think Zaraki is the strongest because first of all figthing between shinigami is figt against their spirital pressure,so zaraki showed us that he can overpower some zanpakto's abilities of his enemies, and, we don't fully understand power of his bankai- his strength, his reyatsy, his abilities. If only first two points becomes much higher, than, maybe, zaraki can ignore ichibei's zanpakto and win the fight.

This is a failure because a Shinigami can't carry around a sword without the sheath and it would be a problem for whoever is carrying it.

It can come up with nigh perfect counters for his opponents after careful observations, and Mayuri's modified Bankai being factor of Mayuri's strength is valid as IQ is also a big factor when it comes to scaling a character's feats and not just strength alone thus since Mayuri is seemingly the person to come up with a way of modifying his Bankai and the person to execute that notion single-handedly, it does in a way make his power(modified Bankai) earned and therefore his own strength including all those drugs he develops by himself also take into account that Mayuri has one of, if not the highest battle IQ of all the Gotei captains
And BTW, don't forget about Mayuri's shikai, which has paralysis powers and can incapacitate his opponents by stabbing them anywhere on the body

Oetsu last? Do you know how dumb that sounds? The guy who literally made zanpaktou is some how behind everyone on this list. He's at least yamamoto level, especially since he killed all of the sternritters in one attack until they were revived by yhwach, and this is without even using bankai.
Also, base aizen without the hogyoku is about the same strength as shunsui.

i think Zaraki is the strongest because first of all figthing between shinigami is figt against their spirital pressure,so zaraki showed us that he can overpower some zanpakto's abilities of his enemies, and, we don't fully understand power of his bankai- his strength, his reyatsy, his abilities. If only first two points becomes much higher, than, maybe, zaraki can ignore ichibei's zanpakto and win the fight.
