Has there been a change in the diffuser design of the catch can? I ordered off your website for my 17 Jk and the catch can I received does not have the same diffuser as pictured in the beginning of the video, instead I have a single stage flat disc with 7 holes in the center.
Yes, we have improved the design with a new patent-pending a three-stage diffuser system. This diffuser system improves coalescing and will capture more oil and increase overall performance even more. This has allowed us to increase oil capacity and air volume as well. UPR
I have tried different hoses like silicone, heater hose and even PVC but when driving in hot conditions and the added heat from the engine ALL hoses collapse under vacuum. There is hard abs or steel braided hose but they are too big and cannot fit in some areas.
I understood the complete installation process, but my only concern with this video is nothing was mentioned in what size hoses was used. Was it a 3/8” or a 5/8” hose. And where would I buy these hoses and connectors?
The 3.6L Pentastar isn't direct injection, therefore a catch can isn't necessary. The gasoline cleans our valves, just be sure to use good gasoline like Chevron, Shell, etc.
Direct injection or not, there are multiple reasons to use one. Saying it's not necessary to use one solely because it is not direct injection is not accurate.
Yeah without one often times the air filter gets drenched with oil... The pcv system isn't up to snuff. Even after replacing with brand new not much change was noted.
@@StephenRivers hey man im running into that issue. Air box and filter filled with oil, already replaced PCV valve and it helped somewhat but still bad, have to add a quart of oil every 700 miles or so. Have you seen any solution to this? ive been looking at forums but no luck so far.
Ordered mine today from Amazon.

This happened to me, have you found a better solution yet?
@@HunnaV Have to use a spring in the hose if it isn't some sort of hard line.
