Can you imagine being a curious passenger or a kid looking out the window and seeing that cliff getting bigger. The confusion and disbelief would be immeasurable
You would be seeing sideways though
The passengers wouldn’t have known. There was clouds so even the pilots couldn’t see it until it was too late. Also the passengers wouldn’t have been able to see out the front
I think only the pilots were able to witness that. I can't imagine the sheer terror and confusion they faced upon the clouds parting and seeing nothing but a huge mountain wall. Brain must've been trying to process a thousand things at once. Terrible tragedy.

One of the saddest animations in my opinion, the way the plane explodes into thousands of pieces as it hits the side of the mountain.

@@aviation-zr2ln They probably knew that was the end, it didn’t seem like they made much of an effort to avoid the mountain, the plane just went straight on almost.

In 1992 thai 311 a A310 carring in 113 People there was approching but A310 had a pilot error and the pilots banked the A310 to the right but the pilots have no idea they are heading to the mountain seconds later the A310 crashed into a mountain durring the approch in nepal killing all 113 People on board
